Dear friends and clients of Spokane Cat Clinic,

We'd like to congratulate Dr. Patrick Carter on his retirement after 42 years of practicing veterinary medicine!

Dr. Carter's focus has always been on strengthening the bond people have with their pets. His dedication to his patients and clients has been nothing short of inspiring. He treats everyone with respect and an open heart, never batting an eye when walking into an exam room to chat with a client from a different walk of life.

What Dr. Carter has built since taking over from Dr. Wittrock back in 1995 is a veterinary clinic where clients can be sure their cats are being treated with genuine caring and compassion. I can't begin to count the number of times a client has remarked on his gentle manner with their cats. Dr. Carter will be missed in our day to day operations, but I think we might be able to talk him into popping in for a shift every now and then to fill in as needed!

Dr. Carter and our staff are excited to introduce the new owner of Spokane Cat Clinic - Dr. Kaylie Shaver! She has been working with us since August and we are so fortunate to have her taking the reins. She is a very capable veterinarian with a kind heart, and most importantly, she is someone you can trust with the care of your feline family members. Dr. Carter feels blessed that he can retire with the knowledge that he is leaving his clinic is in such good hands.

Please know that Doc will miss you all and is grateful to have been trusted with the care of your cats over the years. We wish him the very best in his well deserved retirement!
