It's with a heavy heart I must let everyone know that while I love what I do and getting to help all the fur babies, I will have to look for full time employment to help my family. I'm not sure yet what that will mean for my business, but I know it will change. Most of you don't know, but last year in June my husband was hit and spun in an auto accident. It drastically impacted our lives, and he still has his good days and bad days. While he use to be the main source of income, it allowed me to follow my passion and keep rates low to help all families I could. It's no longer possible. My business income is usually just enough to cover business expenses with a little extra. While he is trying to build something entirely new after being out of work for more than 6 months, we find ourselves struggling to get by. We have been fortunate to receive gifts and borrow funds from family and friends, we just can't keep up these days. Those that know my husband know he has always worked with his hands and did more blue collar work. Transitioning to something completely outside of his normal life skill sets for less stress on his body, and to ease the pain he still experiences from last years wreck has been difficult. He is now working for Bankers Life handling insurance, long term care, and annuities. While he is building something up, it is strictly income based on sign ups and account openings. While I love every single pet and person I have gotten to help, I'm sadden that in the near future things will drastically change and I know it will be a hard transition for those that use my services. I have thought long and hard about this and just to give everyone an idea of my income from this business in the last 6 months after business expenses I have only brought home free and clear about $1,000.00 which isn't conducive for a family of 4 with 2 teen boys both at driving age. Again, I apologize to all of you who will be affected. I will be doing interviews and applications throughout this week in my free time and will not know when things will change nor how they will change. With all my love, Kate.

You can follow this rescue operation with Freddie B's Furry Friend Rescue. We are anxious to see this sweet baby saved. Steven and I saw him a few days ago and tried to get him safe. We found out that he had been out there for a week at the time and some neighbors also had been trying to help. Thanks to Freddie B's we have a good chance at rescue.
