2024 PEAC ApHC WSH Show in the books & it was a toasty one! We never miss this show - and this year was one of our favorites ❤️ Kudos to the show crew and Judges for all the exhibitor consideration due to the heat. Tons of water provided - fans - etc
We only took 3 horses and 4 people to this show - but all had a great weekend with many many class wins and Personal Bests! Very pleased with how our horses handled the heat (they're fairly acclimated) - none got overheated or grouchy at all ...
Wally and I even won 2 of the amazing raffle items - my 2nd year winning the amazing handmade box from Leonard Lusk ❤️

Fabulous time at the WSJHS CLASSIC Show in Moses Lake! Huge thanks to Kimberly Lansing, Dawn Thompson Spencer , Tina Tomonelli and the rest of the show crew and judges Sherri-Shag Williams & Barb Manning.

We had 6 horses and 7 riders there and All met/exceeded their goals for the weekend ❤️ We even left with Jennifer/Wilma winning both Highpoint Limit WT and Open!
Next show in 2 weeks back in Spokane.

2024 WSH Knights of Santiago Show
in the books - Truly had a fantastic time! Lovely weather, great Show Staff, fun prizes, and really friendly & knowledgeable Judges!

I caught a nasty tummy bug Sunday (so no Mack showing), but Saucy and I had a blast doing Halter & Driving Saturday. Finished with Highpoint Driving Horse/Pony!

Wally/Phoenix showed in the WP and got better every class, with almost all Top 3 placings ❤️ (while looking Fab)

Peyton/NatD had their 2nd English classes ever - and were way better than last time. Finished in the placings. They were solid in their SMS and battled through a scary (to NatD) Trail.

Jen/Wilma had a wonderful weekend with wins in English, WP, SMS and Top 3 placings in Trail.

Kasey/Moxie only did inhand but managed Top 5 in SMS and Trail with big wins and Res Champion in Halter! They're back to riding this week.

We're back in TriCities for the last show in their series this next weekend. See y'all there!

2024 WSH Springtime Open in the books! Took 5 horses (baby Max just for learning) and it went great! Huge kudos to Franklin County Saddle Club for all the fabulous upgrades Y'all have done - Laurie Tufford they were appreciated ❤️
Baby Max took everything in stride, and only got upset when he realized we expect him to just STAND on the yummy grass instead of eating it 🤣
Jen,/Wilma had a great show with wins in SMS, English & Western.
Wally/Phoenix had fun and placed well in their SMS and WP.
My clients Bill & Anne Hamlin joined us for their first rated show, and I couldn't be more pleased! Wins and Top 3 placings with their mules (Jameson & Stan) in English, WP and Ranch. Nice to have to join us ❤️
Western for day 2 was cancelled due to weather, but had a fun time anyway! See y'all for Summerfest!

2024 WSH NEZ Fat & Fuzzy Show
Took 5 horses, and each had their goals for the 1st rated show of the year... Great job to the Show Crew/Management 👍

Wally/Phoenix had some struggles, but still managed some great rides, and overcame some struggles ❤️

Peyton/NatD had their first English classes, then some awesome SMS, HMS, Ranch and won 2 of their Trail classes!

Jen/Wilma just get better every show (minus trail LMAO). With Top placings in English, WP and SMS.

Kasey/Moxie had to stepup to the senior horses... First show in the bridle! She was fabulous, even winning a huge WP class. SMS went fine (only 2nd show) and it ended with Trail, which was AWESOME taking 2nd.

Saucy and I had SO MUCH FUN - sometimes we weren't what this Judge wanted, but we still managed Highpoint Pony ❤️
Next show out-of-town in 2 weeks.

Introducing Candi's new baby horse "Mack" aka BRING THE MACHINE 3yr old AQHA/NSBA Gelding got a spa day ❤️ He's an own son of Machine Made out of an Invitation Only daughter.
He sticks at 16H at the wither and is hip high - figure he'll finish out around 16.2H.

SHARING as a reminder! For the love of everything PPE’s are NOT pass or fail. They are a guide!

Can they perform the job you want? Do they potentially need maintenance now or in the future? Can you afford that maintenance? These are the questions a PPE is meant to answer.
And for the sake of everyone please don’t base your decision on flex test results alone. If it doesn’t flex ideally get X-rays. You would be surprised how many flex kinda off and X-ray shows nothing!
Also going to add that vets are human and sometimes one will see something another vet doesn’t it never hurts to get multiple vet opinions on X-rays or even go back and have them review previous X-rays to compare changes.

DeeDee is a sweet-natured daughter of No Doubt Im Lazy out of a Zippos Mr GoodBar mare. She's a $ earner and has won 50+ Highpoints already.
She's happy to go around the ring for Western Pleasure or HUS, but enjoys patterns and obstacles for HMS, EQ and Trail. She's even stepped up and done some Ranch classes (won Res. Highpoint!).
Very forgiving mare (took care of her owner when she was recovering from a brain tumor), easy to navigate, and likes to please. She's had riders aged 12-60+ - and would likely love a smallfry with time.
No vices - should vet well.
Only selling as owner has to ride/show their baby horse and DeeDee is too nice to sit!

As we enter Horse Show Season we can all use this as a reminder:

1. Horses don’t get broke at home. Be brave and enter! … or haul and ride!

2. EVERY disappointment at the show is a learning opportunity … be humble, be open to change.

3. Everyone gets nervous. Everyone has bad days. Everyone makes mistakes. Literally: EVERYONE!

4. Don’t watch others in the warmup ring and start changing what you have been doing - if you see something cool or you want to step up your game that’s homework for after the show!

5. When we run out of knowledge, we often punish our horses. Seek help instead.

6. Be a competitor! But be a horseman first. There is always someone watching who sees you as a role model.

7. Supporting your fellow competitors and engaging with people will enrich your show life.

8. Know the rules of competition! Make sure your attire and tack is legal. Read the rule book, ask questions and be well prepared.

9. Have FUN, don’t sweat the small stuff!

2023 WSH Eddie Mcmurdo Show in the books! It was a fabulous weekend - thanks to the WWV Horsemen for a great show 💕

We left with a number of Highpoints:
DeeDee/Candi were Highpoint Adult Western
Bob/Emma were Highpoint Youth Western, and Res Stock & Res Youth

NatD/Peyton are BACK! With another Unanimous Circuit win in Ba****ck HMS (all ages), and a win in Championship SMS 💕

Wilma/Jen had top 3 in SMS, top 5 in Halter and nice gos in WP, HUS & trail

Moxie/Kasey won their first WP class! And had top placings in Halter & Trail.

Bob/Emma were as solid as always, with hard-earned placings in English. And either Champion or Res Champion in ALL of their western classes.

DeeDee/Candi had a blast, and our POCKET PONY IS BACK! She won or went Res in every class but 2. Went Grand Champion x2 and Res Grand x2 in the Championship classes (only losses to Emma and Bob 💕)

Finally, Jen was honored to win the amazing Darby Bailey memorial package. Such a beautiful award for a beautiful soul gone way too soon ❤️‍🩹
