Important information for the Blue Skies Classic this weekend. To help with high temps we are moving our start time up to 7 AM on Saturday and Sunday! This will help us finish earlier. And to help with the comfort of horses, riders and spectators we will have two 65 ft. misting stations to cool us down! Hunt coats will be excused for all classes, including equitation! We plan to run a very efficient and fun show! We will be flexible and we have a beautiful new speaker system and digital laser timers for the jumpers! We can't wait to see you there.

What an absolutely terrifying experience. Having lived through a tornado touching down blocks from my location with a tractor/ trailer headed to Keenland for the yearling sale with 12 yearlings on board. I have all the empathy in the world for what these folks went through.

A powerful tornado that struck the Quail Run Horse Centre in Elkhorn, Nebraska, on Friday, April 26, in the midst of a USEF-recognized hunter/jumper show, injured multiple horses and destroyed parts of the show grounds.

Online entries will be open until 12 PM tomorrow (Wednesday, May 1, 2024) Paper entries will be accepted through Friday at no extra charge and can be emailed both days as long as they are in before your first class. Post Entry a $2 post entry fee will be charged for entries received on show days. Please don't worry about being late to enter....we love our competitors! WE WANT YOU!! You may drop your entries in the MVF office during the week also.

Reminder Spring Classic competitors! Warm-up day at MVF on Friday May 3rd. 10 AM to 4 PM. Arena closes at 4 PM for course setting. Please RSVP on this post to secure a spot on Warm-up Day. All heights from ground poles to 2'9". $15.00 ea show entered horse, proof of vaccination, signed Liability Waiver required.
Non-competition horses may school $30/ea. Here's your chance to see most of the filler, flower boxes, gates, planks, brush boxes. We want everyone to have a great show and a good warmup will go a long way to helping you be successful!
