It's 4th of July week and that means family picnics and BBQ's with luscious red, white and blue desserts! While the blues are still ripening (probably another week and a half), we have plenty of red! On sale this week for your 4th of July desserts. Through the weekend raspberries are $4.50/lb. We picked last night after 7:00 and after we sprinkled the patch. It was so cool out there. We're flexible on times. Just let us know when you want to come so we don't schedule too many people in our narrow rows at once. Picture was taken last night. (And yes, you can come in the evenings, too!)

Not only did Scott drive all the way over from Idaho TWICE to pick a TON of raspberries, then he went home and started on his real work of art. THIS! His first batch of many! Thanks, Scott for visiting the farm. There are still loads of delicious raspberries out there! Call to come early or late (or whenever in between) to beat the heat.

Are you aware of the Spokane Farm Corridors? Our Great Conservation District created these corridors for the benefit of our community. Now that it's growing season, if you want fruit or produce or meat or honey, you can locate a local farm by using our Farm Corridor website. Click on a corridor and see what each one has to offer. We're growing all the time! Spokane Farm Corridors - Home

The Spokane Farm Corridors were created for the community to experience lovingly grown and locally owned farms.

We have some Anne and Fall Gold in our big patch. They have created a complete dead end at the end of row 6. I keep wanting to move them into their own patch and we WILL do that this year so next year everyone can enjoy the special sweetness of yellow raspberries! Meanwhile, there are still tons of reds out there! Let us know if you want to come pick. All of Friday and Saturday afternoon/evening (not earlier in the day Sat) are booked but otherwise, let us know when you want to come out.

Summer raspberries ripen over a 2 to 3 week period, depending on the temperature outside. It's a short window and they freeze great for a later day. If you need evening hours, because now is great while its still cool out, just let us know. Friday and Saturday are not good this week, and Wednesday morning is full, but don't hesitate to ask if any other time is good for us.

Happy 2025 season! First stop on.our agenda is raspberries. They are getting ripe, but aren't there yet. Another week or two maybe and there are zillions!. We are putting in a whole new patch also They won't be ready this year, but next year they should be wonderful. They are Cascade Delights and are supposed to be larger and firmer than our Canby, with excellent flavor, but ripen after the Canby. That way we can extend our raspberry growing season. We are also hoping to get the field of yellows and gold raspberries set up this fall when the weather cools. I have the plants. We just have to get to it. Blueberries haven't even started turning color. Looking forward to seeing everyone!!!
