We're pleased to announce that starting Saturday April 29th, STAHR will be partnering with Dogtown Company for monthly Microchip Clinics! Microchipping services and microchip checks will be available the last Saturday of each month from 10:30am-12:30pm at Dogtown Company. There's a $15 suggested donation for microchipping services (limited to dogs & cats). Thanks to Scott at Dogtown for hosting--make sure to check out their awesome merchandise while you're there! 🤩

There have been some changes to the original partnership with SCRAPS--as some of you may or may not know, there's been an increased constraint on both OUR ability to impound lost pets & for the community to do the same. STAHR has made efforts to navigate this change by reaching out to other NONPROFITS & RESCUES in the area to look for additional placement options if SCRAPS is unable/unwilling to impound. STAHR remains committed to reunification efforts, advocacy, short-term fostering, and microchipping as a way to increase the reunification rate of those displaced pets in Spokane County. 🫶
