So true!!

No dog has ever abandoned its human because they were old or sick...

As the HSUS teaches, “Through helping to care for a pet, children also learn to care for their fellow human beings. There is an established link between how people treat animals and how they treat each other. Kindness to animals is a lesson that benefits people, too.”

4:00CLASS IS FULL. STILL HAVE ROOM IN THE 5:00 AND 6:00 classes

Hi Everyone!
This is Sharon Bachman with 7 Diamond Dog Training. I know it’s been a long time coming, but I finally have a day nailed down and some available times for dog class. The weather just hasn’t wanted to cooperate. I think we should be safe, weatherwise, by June 11. That’s a Tuesday evening. I will offer 3 classes. A 4:00, 5:00, and 6:00. All beginning classes. We will do an intermediate class after these beginning ones.

We will work at Southside Park. Heading towards Lamoille, take a right off of Fifth onto Wilson or Bullion Road. Go up to south 3rd and take another right. We will be in that corner by the kids toys.

You will need either a slip collar, choke chain, or prong collar and a 4-6 foot leather or nylon leash. Something comfortable on your hands. We may change up the training jewelry once you get there and we see how your dog reacts.

We won’t need treats until week 2. But you can bring some anyway to help with anxiety and in teaching them the “watch me”.

We go for 8 weeks, with graduation on week 8 and if you think your dog is advanced enough, we will be doing a Canine Good Citizen test on week 9.

The cost for the class is $250 for the in-person class, the CGC, and I give everyone access to my online class with all the videos in case you are gone one week or forget how to do something. If you were a member of my online community already you will have a different price, I deduct the $100 from that $250. Some of you will have a different price yet. You just come early the first night to get all signed up and paid.

Class space will be limited, so first come first serve for each class and you will need to RSVP so I will save you a spot. Please don’t reply to this text because it is a group text and we will all be annoyed with you LOL. Please reply to me via phone (775)397-2172 or on Facebook Messenger for either my personal page or the 7 Diamond Dog Training page. Be sure and leave me your name and the number attending with dogs. Spectators are welcome and no charge. If I don’t get back to you right away, I have another job so I will answer you back in the order I got your text, but might possibly be the next day.

Look forward to meeting you and your pups!!!

Happy Tails,

Sharon

Might not hurt to have this on hand…..

I always stay as hard as it is for me. They deserve it. It isn’t about me at this point.

I always stay as hard as it is for me. They deserve it. It isn’t about me at this point.

“Pets, it turns out, also have last wishes before they die, but only known by veterinarians who put old and sick animals to sleep. Twitter user Jesse Dietrich asked a vet what was the most difficult part of his job.
The specialist answered without hesitation that it was the hardest for him to see how old or sick animals look for their owners with the eyes of their owners before going to sleep. The fact is that 90 % of owners don't want to be in a room with a dying animal. People leave so that they don't see their pet leave. But they don't realize that it's in these last moments of life that their pet needs them most.
Veterinarians ask the owners to be close to the animals until the very end. ′′It's inevitable that they die before you. Don't forget that you were the center of their life. Maybe they were just a part of you. But they are also your family. No matter how hard it is, don't leave them.
Dont let them die in a room with a stranger in a place they dont like. It is very painful for veterinarians to see how pets cannot find their owner during the last minutes of their life. They dont understand why the owner left them. After all, they needed their owner’s consolation.
Veterinarians do everything possible to ensure that animals are not so scared, but they are completely strangers to them. Don't be a coward because it's too painful for you. Think about the pet. Endure this pain for the sake of their sake. Be with them until the end.”
