Our puppy Theo is absolutely loving this morning! Born in January of this year, he’s experiencing his very first snowfalls, and watching his excitement as he explores and plays has been pure joy. These magical moments are what make winter so special! ❄️🐶

’Twas Seven Days ’Til Christmas, flower farmer version. ✨🎄🎅🏼

’Twas seven days ’til Christmas, and all through the farm,
The flowers lay sleeping, embraced by the calm.
The fields stood quiet, the blooms tucked in tight,
Resting in shadows of the soft winter light.

But deep in her workshop, with ribbons and string,
The flower farmer worked on a beautiful thing.
With bouquets to bundle and wreaths to prepare,
Her scissors had vanished—she looked everywhere!

She searched in the kitchen, the garage, and the shed,
Through garlands of cedar and bows of bright red.
“Oh no!” she exclaimed, with a sigh of despair,
“How will I finish with no scissors there?”

Then her eyes caught a glimmer, a sparkle, a hint—
It was her trusty garden snips, lying by the mint!
“Not perfect,” she muttered, “but they’ll have to do.”
And with that, she got wrapping, determined and true.

With a snip and a twist, she tied every bow,
Her hands worked so quickly, her cheeks all aglow.
She worked through the night while the flowers still dreamed,
Creating pure magic as moonlight gleamed.

By dawn, her creations stood proudly in line,
Each wreath and bouquet a blend so divine.
The flowers still slumbered, the farm bathed in peace,
As the farmer’s hard work brought a joyful release.

So, if ever you’re troubled or short on supplies,
Remember this tale of a farm girl so wise.
For with garden snips handy and a heart full of cheer,
You can spread Christmas magic, year after year.

The weather yesterday and today- absolutely gorgeous! ☀️

If you haven’t had the chance, It’s a wonderful time to tidy up your gardens and finish winterizing your roses, something I still need to do! 🫣 We have 4 kids, need I say more? 🤣
