Here's cutie-patootie lil' Terrier Mix Morty! He usually lives in an apartment in Lincoln Park but came to have an afternoon's visit with us to check out & sniff all the previous doggies "aromatic" smells in the backyard. He wasn't interested in the pool but sure loved being free & off leash. He's coming back for a long weekend in Sept while his mom gets married! We'll have a great time together! 🐾💖 Congratulations Jenny! 💏

Release the Hounds! HaHa ... these two adorable rescued babies, Hank, Basset Hound/Golden mix, & Pippin, Basset/Beagle mix, came to visit for a play day while their parents went to the Zoo. With new found freedom without a leash, they had many curious moments investigating the backyard with tons of sniffing & barking with the dogs next door. Even had time for a little nap after their vigorous exercise! We enjoyed a fun day! 🐾💕🤩

Just finished some more Summer fun times with handsome Benzy Boy. This time we had a visitor, pretty girl doggie Lola, who came to meet Benzy & get an afternoon of swim time! Lola is Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix so we thought they'd enjoy each others company. Benzy was soooo thrilled & focused on watching her dive in & swim that he didn't even go in. He just paced back & forth in utter excitement! Once Lola was pooped out, then Benzy jumped in & swam. Delightful times for us all! 💞🐾🤣

Kitty cat fun visits this past week with wild fur child Roxy & her bro Ozzy. He loves his "in & out of the box" play & she loves to just hang out in the kitchen & bat her toys around. These two very playful putty tats are hilariously funny! 😹🐾😻🐾

Cute butt Taco the Corgi came back to visit us for a weekend of doggo floating & swimming. We had a terrific time in the pool & Taco played fetch with every ball he could find, investigated every inch of the yard, & we played lots of laser tag! Overall, for two days of play, he had a week's worth of exhilarating exercise & definitely went home a happy & pooped doggie! Wolfie Woof Woof! 🐕🐾

Mellow Fellow Zeus, Great Pyrenees/Border Collie mix was just our long weekend doggie guest for some summer fun! He joined in for some swimming in the pool, protecting the backyard from unwanted critters, watching lots of birdies to & from the birdbaths & bird houses, barking along with the neighborhood doggies, bone chewing, & of course evening relaxing watching TV. Really enjoyed this big boy's company! 💚 Woof Woof! 🐾🐕

5 days of 4th of July entertainment & relaxation with my pal, Benzy Boy! 🎆🎉It rained, and rained, and rained, 🌧 so we just stayed indoors & played with his new holiday ball, watched some TV, & snuggled together on the couch. Couldn't ask for a sweeter companion to share relaxing moments with! Looking forward to this month end where we are hoping to swim again! 🌊🏊

We spent one week in June visiting with a very shy rescued senior kitty named Triona. Her mom sent me her picture and told me that she wouldn't come out to visit or play with me because she preferred that only her family petted her or played with her. She wasn't wrong, Triona didn't come out but I knew she was doing fine because all her food was eaten and her litter boxes were used. Sorry we didn't get to play, but just happy that she was taken care of properly and doing fine while her family was away. Meow Meow! 💗🐈🐾

We had two full weeks of fun in the sun, and rain too, with big boy Benzy! He got tons of lovin', belly scratches, treats, car rides, Pet Collective watching, and some pool time & swimming too! This was his 2nd time swimming with us, he wasn't afraid & did just great! We tried the doggo float but he wasn't quite ready for that yet - maybe next time! Sure had some wonderful times together with this happy handsome boy! Love him! 💙🐾

Fun long weekend sharing 3 days with two senior cuties pies - Tucker & Tyler. I've cared for them for over 5 years & they are always delighted to take short walks, sniffing & investigating, & share times together just hanging out in their home & backyard. They don’t play with toys but sure enjoy asking for special treats, lots of love & petting.💞

Sheltie dogs Sasha & Raj came to visit us again this year for their 10 day doggie vacation. Yay!💞They both enjoyed sniffing all the critter smells in the yard🐇🐿, chasing birds & getting their bark on with all the neighborhood dogs, going for car rides, watching The Pet Collective, & getting tons of licks of vanilla custard🍨. Sasha is very expressive & lets us know when she wants lots of love, petting, & brushing. Raj loves his tug-a-war & squeaky toy playtime🧸. We enjoyed plenty of evening cuddle time & many relaxing moments together! 💕

Spent this last week with pretty girl Daisy Mae! She's a delightful free spirited baby with a happy-go-lucky personality. She loves to just hang around all day, going in & out, & chase the birds in her yard. Two ducks were swimming in her families pond & of course she had to chase them too! She is a bundle of love & fun! 💓🐕🐾

12 days worth of feisty Chuck-It fun & games with this family of 4 doggies & 1 kitty! Standard Poodle, Ryder, is a blue ribbon winner in Agility Competition & will be going to the Nationals in Springfield in May!🐩🏅Purebred Collie, Whim, was up for fetch every time the ball was in the air.🧶Two lil' rescued babies, Jade & Lily, frolicked with the big dogs everywhere in the yard by running, sniffing & investigations. One day of unexpected snowfall was fun for them too! 🌨 Siamese Kitty, Sugar, went out every time her doggie housemates did & used the outdoors as her litter box. She's trained to come when called too! Good kitty!😻 Sure had a super time keeping up with these babies!💞💖💕 🐾

Last week was time again to spend some special days with Benzy Boy! This baby just loves to be loved & hang out all day long right next to his hoomans! I call him "Mr. Affectionate" & he is my shadow when we're together - no bathroom time alone! 🤣 During the week, we had an unexpected 3" snow fall & he was extremely happy to get out & roll around in it! 🌧❄️ Fun, fun, fun ... 💙🐾

Just finished a really enjoyable 10 days with newly rescued Miss Millie! She is now almost 1 yo, was adopted from a shelter weighing only 20 lbs, abused & malnourished. She now has a great new home with very loving parents who treat her like a queen! She's gained about 22 lbs, is healthy & happy, & has a sweet mild personality & now trusts hoomans! We played a lot with squeaky toys, went for several car rides & to Culvers for vanilla custard. She loved just hanging out in her own back yard where she is free & safe. 🐕🐾Please adopt!

As concerned pet parents, we all need to work together to spread awareness about the benefits of spaying & neutering. Spay for the girls (throw in a mani-pedi) & balls-voyage for the boys! Shelters all around the world are FULL. Be a part of the solution, not the problem. Spay & neuter your pets, encourage loved ones to do the same. If you are feeding feral cats, work with a local trap-neuter-release program. It’s the best thing we can do for our pets! Thank you!🐾💖

We had ooddles of fun this past week with two families of precious kitty cats! The mom's kitty Kya 😹, & the daughter's two kitties😽😻 wild fur-child Roxie, & big boy Ozzie. Tons of fun-loving play time with them all chasing feathers, balls, toy mice, laser tag, & comical "in & out-of-the-box" amusement. Really enjoyed their wildly frisky antics! 🤣🐾

YIPPEE‼️ Meet Taco, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, & isn't he cute?! He is staying with us for his own 21 day vacation since his family is vacationing overseas. This little guy is very energetic, affectionate & smart with a BIG personality. He loves to play fetch inside & outside - even though this is his 1st time romping in tons of snow! ❄️☃️He's a California raised doggie so he was used to sunshine!🌞I'm sure he'll enjoy our 4 seasons of changing weather?? Taco demands lots of play time with squeaky toys🐷& laser tag as well as watching Dog TV. And don't forget his treats & a bone to chew on ... or else! Woof Woof!!! 🌭🦴🐾

These lil' rascals are Mia & Milo, two babies we've enjoyed caring for since 2018. We're currently hanging out with them for 10 days during this long New Year's holiday. They are happiest just running in & out all day & love being in their own yard sniffing, investigating, & chasing away all the unwanted critters! 🦨🐿 In the evenings, they are great cuddle doggies to stay warm with & watch old movies by the Christmas tree. 🎄💞🐾 HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL! 🥳

Beautiful Benzy Boy and I shared the last two long weekends together cuddling in cozy warmth and relaxing during this Christmas holiday season!🌲🔥Weather wasn't cooperating much for playing outside but we did have some amusing play time moments inside. WOW! 💞 Look at these two beautiful fluffy Rag Doll babies! How lucky we were to share a very long Thanksgiving holiday with Lilly and Leo! Leo was so funny, he refused to move from the doorway until I gave him a proper greeting and then he gave the very best kitty kisses 💋! They both loved their laser and stuffed toy playtime but also had lots of very rough and tumble play time antics together. They were great company and we really had tons of fun! 🥰💖🐾

Meet this happy-go-lucky family of 4 fur babies that we've been caring for since 2017. Husky Luna, doggy mix Meeko, and rescued kitties Binx and Willow. We just shared the last 10 days with them all and thoroughly enjoyed all their slurpy kisses and kitty chin rubs. The doggies just wanted to be in & out all day long and the kitties were enjoying lots of petting and brushing. What more could a temporary surrogate mom ask for? 🐈🐻‍❄️🐈‍⬛🐕🐾
