By purchasing an animal from us, you are agreeing to the Terms of Sale listed below. Deposits:
We offer the option for you to place a $50 NONREFUNDABLE deposit, should you wish for us to place a hold on an animal for you. The remaining balance will be due before an animal will be shipped. The deposit will be credited towards the total cost of your animal. Under this guarantee, we wi
ll only ship via FedEx Express Priority Overnight. A hold for pickup at your closest FedEx Hub is also required in order to guarantee the animals live arrival. We want every Chameleon to make it to their new home safe and healthy. Although we strongly discourage it, you may waive the hold for pickup at hub option and request a directly delivery to your home. If you waive the pickup at your local hub, you are waiving your right to a live arrival guarantee as well as your right to a quality & health guarantee. We will not guarantee an animals health if you accept the risk a direct delivery to your home. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed upon between the seller and purchaser in writing. This includes DOA claims. Additional shipping costs associated with issues resulting from our improper s*xing or quality claims will be covered by us. DOA (Dead on Arrival) claims:
DOA Claims must be issued immediately upon arrival. We will issue a credit upon the claims acceptance and will replace the animal with one of the same type and value. We will not issue a credit if a claim is not issued immediately upon arrival. The customer is responsible for shipping costs of the replacement animal. Quality:
We want all of our customers to be happy with their purchase of their chameleon. We offer a ten day health guarantee. If there are any health issues or concerns within the first ten days of your animals arrival, you may request a full refund/replacement of your animal upon its safe return to us. We will require an explanation of the reasoning of your need to return the animal as well as pictures of the animal in its current condition. If we deem that injury, poor health, or death were the result of improper care or neglect, we reserve the right to void the health guarantee. Please remember that if you refuse to pick up your animal from your closest FedEx Hub, you have also voided your quality / health guarantee. We do not agree to pay any veterinarian expenses resulting from quality issues or concerns. The animal in question is to be returned to Long Shot Chameleons immediately in order to ensure that the animal is properly cared for; and, a replacement animal will be provided at our expense. No exception to this rule will be applied. If you do not wish to send the animal in question back, you / the purchaser will be responsible for all veterinarian care expenses. Injury In Transit - In the rare case that an animal is injured in transit, a claim must be reported within 24 hours of arrival. We will gladly replace the animal if the claim is deemed accurate but we will require that the animal be returned back to us in order to ensure that the animal receives the necessary care that it requires. The new animal will be shipped to you upon the arrival of the injured animal back to us. Sexing:
We offer a guarantee that you will receive the proper s*x you have requested. If a mistake is made, we will gladly replace / swap the animal with one of the proper s*x. We will require that you send back the original animal. We will provide you with a return shipping label and require that it be sent back in the original packaging that it came in. Once the original animal is shipped, we will send you an animal of the correct s*x.
