We’re happy to announce that our black and tan Merle beauty Hennessey had 2 beautiful healthy boys a chocolate Rudy boy and a black and tan boy! She did have a third boy but unfortunately he was stillborn, this is a first for us 😔No matter how old it’s still a heartbreaking lost but we are very thankful to have two healthy males. They will be ready for their new homes sometime late September or early October so Please check back with us as we will be posting pictures of these two very soon as well as accepting adoption applications.

Regrettably, we have made the difficult decision to scale down our breeding program due to various challenges. Despite pouring our hearts into our puppies and ensuring all necessary steps are taken to run our program successfully and up to reputable standards it has become disheartening to not find suitable homes for them within the appropriate timeframe. The emotional investment in our fur babies is immense, and it is discouraging when others fail to recognize the value of unconditional love.

While I am extremely hesitant to give up entirely, the demanding nature of this everyday 365 days a year commitment has led me to question the sustainability of continuing. Although we as a family have a deep passion for this work, the lack of reciprocation makes me wonder if the our efforts is truly worthwhile.

Therefore, we will be concluding the year with just two more litters - King Charles Cavalier litter expected at the end of the month and a chocolate cavapoo litter in winter. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the entire Shell Cottage Family and friends for their support, and we will keep you updated as the litters arrive.
