7 weeks has passed in a flash and these little chunks are almost ready to fly the coop. Vet visits are on the agenda this week. They’ve been able to enjoy some beautiful days outside and are fully weaned and eating like champs. Their momma has learned a new trick and opens the kennel doors at night so I’ve woke to puppies running around the house. 🤣 It’s hard to believe these are our last puppies from Franki, but she’s given us some wonderful memories! ❤️
This is another set of boys that went to the same family. One here in KS and the other in Florida, but they are able to visit one another. I may be biased by my goodness aren’t they handsome?

This handsome boy, Zimmer, came back to visit today with his mom and dad while they picked out his little brother! Zimmer is 7 months old and SO well behaved. He and his new little brother share the same daddy, Atlas! I can’t wait to see these boys grow up together!
First taste of the outdoors (no paws on the ground)! These babies haven’t skipped a meal! Tonight we will have mani/pedis and get those nails trimmed up! But seriously, could they be any more adorable? 🥹 As always, ladies and then gents! 🤎
What a difference a week has made! These little tater tots have grown SO much! I’ve said it 100 times, but Franki is the absolute best mother we’ve ever had. So attentive to her pups and keeps them well fed! Their eyes are now open, and despite the grouchy faces on some of them, they really are sweet little boogers! I woke them from their nap, and some just weren’t quite ready to wake up! Pictured first are the 4 little girls, followed by the 4 boys. 🤎🤎🤎
Last week we welcomed Franki’s final litter. 4 males and 4 females all of which are gaining weight and doing great! This will be Franki’s last hoorah, so we named her babies accordingly! 😉 The 4 little ladies are pictured first, followed by the little gentlemen! 🤎
I’m not sure why, but there’s been an increased demand for male puppies in the last few months. These 3 girls are still waiting to find their perfect people. 9 weeks old, up to date on shots, dewormed, vet checked, microchipped, and started on heartworm preventative. Feel free to share!
Sometimes you just have to stop and smell the dandelions, or something along those lines. 🤷♀️

Breeding is not for the faint of heart. There is always heartbreak involved, and one of those things is knowing that you or your situation isn’t what’s best for a dog. The time has come for us to do what’s right for our girl Monroe. It’s been a long time coming and a reality we’ve avoided having to face. Monroe is the first dog we kept from our own breeding program, so we’ve been with her since birth. She is not meant to be a momma, and our living arrangements with so many other dogs isn’t what she needs. She needs a family that will love her and set her up to be the best version of herself.
I cannot say enough that Monroe is a people dog. She loves people, both young and old. She gets along well with some of our dogs, and others not at all. We will require that she is an only dog to avoid any disputes. She needs room to run and not live in a kennel. She still has plenty of playfulness in her so I would suggest a family with children 5+ although she has been raised alongside our little boy and we’ve never had any issues.
Monroe is 3 years old and will be 4 in July. She will be spayed before going to her new home. She is crate trained and house trained and has had genetic testing and OFAs completed.

We had the pleasure of meeting with this sweet couple in picking out their boy, Zimmer. This is their families second puppy from us and that makes it all that much sweeter! ❤️
Harbor blessed us with 6 beautiful puppies Monday evening. Unfortunately one little chocolate female didn’t make it. The other 5 are thriving and Harbor is head over heels for her babies! We have 2 chocolate females, 1 chocolate male, 1 black female, and 1 black male. 🤎🖤

The puppies had their vet health checks today and everyone passed with flying colors! A little less than a week and these babies will start flying the coop to their new homes! ❤️ Pictured is Mr. Jupiter posing on the scale!
Slowly but surely new pictures are coming! My helper is still in training and insisted he be included in the photos. They’re just getting too big for me to hold and attempt photos myself. We had a couple of visits over the weekend and they went great! Vet visit next week for their health certificates and very shortly these babies will be headed off to their new families. 🥹
As promised here are the little guys and gals today! Most have wild coats from their baths, and a couple are sporting a bit of leftovers in their coats and on their noses. We have officially entered the messy stages, but each day they’re getting better at not diving headfirst into their food. Everyone also got new collars and I tried to display them in the photos. Enjoy!

Keeping up with feeding 10 puppies is no simple task, especially for a first time momma. We are helping Salem with supplementing formula twice a day. This method using a make up sponge and syringe is a God send! The puppies took right to it and are eating like champs!

I’d love to take all the credit, but Morgan has an amazing family that’s leading him in the right direction! He is their second puppy from us and both boys are so impressive in their abilities. At 4 months old I’m super impressed!
These little ”nuts” had their first drink of milk replacer tonight. Momma is keeping up just fine, but it’s time to introduce more calories and self feeding. We’ll begin to blend puppy food in with the milk soon! They’re becoming much more stable on their feet and personalities will soon begin to show. Love watching these babies grow! 🤎

Roy is up and at em for an early morning swim! He’s learning from the best, his big brother Mac. He stayed in our family and will one day be hunting alongside his momma Reba! ❤️
Cayenne (Reba x Scooter) is living in Canada and is doing great retrieving from water! Can’t wait to see what this girl does in the future!
