Hi Everyone! We named our Beef treats "Beef Jerky" and "Beef Bones Jerky" These treats are homemade, 96% lean ground Beef and done in small batches. They are 2.5 ounce bags. Beef jerky contains 11 (+/-) treats around 3 to 1/2 inches long. Easy to break for smaller pets. The Bones and paws contain 19 (+/-) treats around 1 to 1.5 inches long.

I purchased a jerky gun and 5 pounds of ground turkey. I tried to do long straight lines but I couldn't. So I tried making them the width of my palm. Boy did they shrink LOL Again I am using top level meats with no antibiotics and 93% lean. They are still dehydrating while I post this. Will update everything in comments when done. They are in for 11hrs 30 min at 150 degrees

Hi Everyone,
Ok we are starting the Pet Sensations bakery. It is the official bakery for Shady Hills Animal Rescue. All proceeds go directly to the care of the animals in the rescue. We decided on freeze dry and dehydrated pet treats consisting of 1 to 3 ingredient. Making treats these two ways keeps the natural vitamins and nutrients in the products. There is no added anything to them and is the HEALTHIEST treats you can give your pet. These treats have a shelf life of 25 years, but will not last that long cause all my dogs love them and yours will too.

Each bag of treats will come with a SHAR wristband. The treats are in 2 to 3 ounce bags, but each has a lot of treats in them. They are lighter cause there is no moisture in them. Give them the treat directly from the bag and reseal the bag. Each bag is a $20 donation and includes shipping. Remember your donation is tax deductible as well. This is why people need to read posted signs. We constantly have people coming to our fence to feed the horses. We have signs on the fence that say "do not feed" but they do not care. When they see me, they leave. If you do not own it do not feed it

Hi Everyone! Welcome Baby to our rescue. She was running loose for 4 days on the street. We were able to get her in our yard. waited the 10 days for owner to show then 10 more for auction but no.one came so she is ours. She is 50 inches from shoulders to gtound

When rescuing a new pet, give that pet time to adjust. Yes it will p*e and p**p on the floors because that is what it did at the shelter. After a while it will stop doing that but you must teach it not to do it. Be sure to get a dog create or cage for the pet when you have to go to work. This helps with separation anxiety, the poor thing hasn't been alone for a while. Don't use it as punishment cause you do not want him to think when you leave he's being punished, he will not want to go in it. When outside praise him/her when the go to the bathroom, even reward them. My two new guys go potty outside and not in the house now. You can work through it with them, not return them cause it p**ps and p*ed in the house.
