We hope your holidays have been as happy as Tug in snow!!!!
As we close in on the New Year just a few friendly reminders for 2023!
*Holidays need to be booked no less than a month in advance more if you can figure it out sooner.
*Summer weekends need at minimum 3 weeks.
*Spring Break is in March around the 2nd and 3rd week.
*Due to the continued rise in cost of living, dog food, propane, electricity, well, you get the idea, daily prices for one dog will rise to $25/day. 2 dogs $45/day. 3 dogs $60/day. This goes into effect Jan 1st 2023.
As always, thank you for your continued support throughout the years!

Just a gentle reminder: 4th of July is coming. The kennel is full. Shelters are at capacity. Please keep your animals well secured. Get ID on tags. Write your number with a sharpie on collars. Do not lose your dog on the 4th. Many many places can not take your dog in as a stray.

The holidays are upon us! Please take the time to make sure your pet's microchip is updated and collars have good identification on them. More pets go missing in the holiday season than any time of the year. I highly suggest embroidered collars with your phone number and address on them. They are easily found on Amazon or Etsy and are better than tags as tags get lost!! We want to wish you a happy and safe holiday season!!

OK folks! This shouldn't come as a surprise but we are down to extremely limited availability inside for Labor Day weekend and still have outside space available!

There is currently no weekend availability for the remainder if July. VERY limited availability the last weekend of July and the 1st weekend of August. Please make your reservations EARLY!! I can not do last minute boarding that covers any weekend.

Also, take note, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner. I am already taking reservations for those holidays. Please let me know ASAP if you need boarding. You can book directly online from kerryskennels.com

They're coming!!
Another good tip is to get a sharpie and write your name and phone number on your pups collar. If you have a fancy collar buy a cheap one specifically for the 4th of July!

Baby it's HOT outside! Keep your pets cool! Don't walk on hot pavement. Provide plenty of fresh, clean, cool water and let them inside!!
(Unless they're like Dave and like to sunbathe when it's 100°. I have to force him inside!)

Just a gentle reminder! Dalis are beautiful dogs! But they need a lot of work! They get bored easily and have can have a very specific genetic problem with kidney stones that make their medical care extremely expensive!

Summer is here!! With that being said, we are booked solid until mid July! Please make your reservations early!
Unfortunately at this time we only have outside space available and a couple small dog (think Yorkie or Chi) runs left for 4th of July. We do have some open space available the weekend BEFORE the 4th. That would be June 25-27th.
One more note: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make sure you are using a good flea and tick preventative! I have never seen ticks as bad as they are right now!! Any dog(s) that come in with fleas and ticks will be treated by me, at your cost, out of my personal Frontline stash!!

What a ride 2020 has been!! As we close in on the first 6 months of 2021 I want to extend my deepest gratitude to the kennel family that has helped me manage to keep the doors open. It seemed like every time in 2020 I was beginning to doubt my ability to stay open one more day my extended family of borders came through for me. So that how we kept on. One day at a time. And as we continue on through 2021 and I am beginning to see many of my very missed faces, both people and dogs, I hope to continue to be able to provide the same care for your animals that we have in the past 40 plus years. Come see us soon and see the brand new extended play yard. Plus a fresh coat of paint!!

So if I had a groomer come in 2 or 3 days a week for baths and nail trims, for boarders and rescues, what do y'all think? It wont be for fancy hair cuts, that will happen at her place of business.....but we could facilitate grooming while dogs are boarded?

Keep your pets safe! Do not allow them to be without identification! Write your name, number and address in Sharpie directly on a collar as tags can get ripped off. Crates can be your friend as well as speak to your veterinarian about oral tranquilizers to help calm them down! Have a safe and happy 4th!!!
