PAW Warriors Inc Paw Warriors is a 501(c)(3) non-profit cat rescue and sanctuary in Spring Hill, FL. We are committed to giving every cat a second chance.

We are dedicated to helping sick and injured cats in our local community, providing care, comfort and compassion. Paw Warriors Inc is a nonprofit cat rescue organization focused on helping ill, injured or critical street cats in our local community. We have a 5 acre sanctuary used to rehabilitate and house the cats we take in meeting that criteria. Those that make a full recovery, are then put up

for adoption. Those needing recurrent medical care are given a safe place to live out their days. Volunteers are always needed and the kitties love Happy Hour guests! We are open for "Happy Hour" Wednesday thru Sunday from 5 to 7 pm. Closed Monday and Tuesday. Visitors are encouraged to come during those times to visit, groom and play with the cats. We are deeply grateful to Greg Burgess for his remarkable kindness. He generously donated fencing, posts, outdoor lamps and posts, shark vacuum, linens, pillows, tall 4 door storage cabinet, loppers, umbrella, shelf liner, an led light for our tech room, keurig, galvanized wire, and a gas powered 100ft hose pressure washer. Additionally, he provided items for our upcoming thrift sale. Greg is a compassionate cat and dog advocate, always carrying cat and dog treats in his truck, and he even brought us Whiskers. Whiskers earned his new name after arriving and promptly falling over. Here is a heartwarming photo of Greg and Ray enjoying each other's company on a beautiful day at the rescue.

Hey Everyone, just the most awesome news ever - guess what??? Our Grams, after several years of being at the rescue, was just adopted by the most loving home ever! She is all dressed up in her Sunday Best and off she went! We are just thrilled and know you will be too - we have waited for this day for so long..... Tinsel and KaliFlower had vet visits today! And we are glad they did! They, and many more of our beautiful kittycats, are receiving much needed professional veterinary care.

Tinsel's visit was to rule out exposure to rat poison. She had a convenia injection for her upper respiratory infection (URI) and will need weekly B12 shots.

Kaliflower's visit was for her anemia that had not been addressed for far too long. And we are happy to update that she is doing SO much better!

We are addressing many concerns, but health is first and foremost. And as we are continuing to address cleaning up the grounds and making their home, clean, safe avd secure, we must address the immediate health concerns.

So, our incredible volunteers are not only accompanying our not-so-well furbabies to the vet, our designated medical volunteers are there morning and night administering vet prescribed medications and carefully monitoring.

But the bills are mounting up and we are reaching out to our fabulous followers to please donate. Any and all donations go directly to the kittycats and their ongoing care. Please, any amount will help so much.

Wow! Volunteers, including our awesome board members, were on hand and after many hours of diligent work, ISO is back in operation, fresh and clean! Everything was removed, then interior was pressure washed and painted. And the kitties had fresh air and sunshine while their mini hospital was sanitized clean and reorganized. It is not yet 100% completed, but a giant step toward betterment for the most purrfect little beings and their surroundings.

To continue this incredible vision, we are very much in need of supplies. Gift cards to Rural King, Home Depot, Lowe's, Walmart. And the need for food continues, of course. We also need volunteers, both medical background and general talent.

Happy Hour (when we are open to the public) will be closed until further notice. We will open it back as soon as we can. The cats come first for Vet visits, etc. and we need to clean up the rescue property and then we will open back up for visiting time again for our awesome public, as we want the cats to get socialization with the public as they look forward to your visits! Prior to 01/22/2025, the Paw Warriors, Inc. (PWI) board members were not able to access the mobile home located at 361 Spring Time Street, Spring Hill, Florida 34608 where several cats and dogs were living on the PWI property, which is owned and belongs to PWI. When the Board of PWI obtained access on 01/22/2025 with the local sheriffs office and animal control deputies, it was immediately discovered that the mobile home was uninhabitable, a safety and health hazard, contained f***s, urine, maggots, and cockroaches throughout, and needs to be completely gutted and cleaned out from top to bottom. The fact that animals were living in these conditions’ day in, and day out is beyond deplorable and horrific.

We are sending out this message to our supporters due to being overwhelmed with what we are faced with in the amount of work that is before us in order to get the mobile home accessible and safe again for humans and animals. This is an emotional plea for support and supplies. We cannot do this alone. In order to successfully reach our goals during this huge undertaking, PWI is asking our amazing supporters for supply donations for the following, but not limited to, items:

• Heavy duty trash bags;
• All-purpose cleaners, disinfectants;
• Large bins, empty boxes, and sorting containers for categorizing items that will be kept, discarded, or donated;
• Step ladders, flashlights;
• Sponges, cloths, paper towels, heavy duty gloves,
• Tarps for piling multiple items onto and transporting easily;
• Broom/dustpan; and
• buckets and mops.

Please note, the photographs included in this post are to show what the current conditions of the mobile home are and to express visually why this plea for donations and support is crucial and necessary.

As previously posted, PWI is undergoing a transition that is focused fully on the health, safety, and welfare of the precious animals at the rescue. We are so grateful for all of the support received thus far in our clean-up efforts, and we are excited for the path ahead as we continue to grow and build an even stronger rescue, one day at a time.

We appreciate all of our volunteers and supporters more than words can describe, and we could not do any of this without you all!

What a fulfilling and wonderful day this was this week - Paw Warriors volunteers took a few cats to a local Nursing/Assisted Living Home for a visit! What a great response from the residents - the smiles said it all! The kitties loved the pets and lovin's so much! It was a win-win situation and we hope to do more of this in the coming days! Our kitties deserve this and the community absolutely loves the visits! Thank you volunteers for making this possible! This is a part of rescue and it's been a long time coming!! We need your support more than ever to do more great things in the community and make a difference in these cat's lives - we want these cats to just walk right into loving homes and have their own family - this prepares them! Yesterday, we proudly shared a photo of the full dumpster after an exhausting but rewarding cleanup day. We worked tirelessly to clear out years of mold, mildew, and dangerous clutter, all to create a safe and healthy space for the cats. This morning, we were devastated to find the former president and another individual removing the trash from the dumpster. While it’s not illegal, it feels like a setback after all the progress we made. But we refuse to let this stop us. The cats are counting on us, and we need your support now more than ever. Together, we can continue to create the safe, loving environment they deserve. Let’s keep fighting for them! More Milton aftermath part 2

This is just one of the videos that I took the morning after milton. Besides the devastation, I Just want to show just how stoic cats can be!

We are ok.... but we are not ok! I'm sorry for my whiny cry in this video, I was so scared and concerned for the kitties that all were in the small enclosures and tree house that got crushed from the dozen trees that went down. Many cats got out of the enclosures and we haven't gotten them all back in. As of right now, we have not seen any cats that have injuries or found any that have passed from injuries. For having ~200 cats on property, I would say we were blessed as it could've been so much worse. I will share that since Wednesday, we have had 3 cats pass away that were fragile and/or old, and one seemingly healthy cat that passed away in the residence. This has been devastating in itself! We have seen this in past, but never this many. It is our understanding that the stress of a storm can cause that to happen. The video gives you an idea what we went thru in the midst Milton's wrath. We did get some help with a bulk of clean up (thank you Tristan!). But we will be recovering from this for a long time. So, this is why we ARE NOT OK. Although cats know better than us where theyll be safe, We need to rebuild safer houses for these misfits. Not all of them will go into the kabana or under the shed. We now need to rebuild the campground, and wil keep this in mind as çv chai We were in needed donations for supplies BEFORE Milton. But now we're at point of desperation: as we need help
