I want to thank Matthew Powers from NY for his negative review he made for his Aunts dog. Yes in the 36yrs I have had Rottweilers 6 pups with a long coat have been placed as pets.
Yes Rottweilers can carry the long coat gene. It's funny how the clients that actually own him had the choice in what pup they picked. The rest of that litter was normal. They also wanted breeding rights as they thought he was a "rare' Rottweiler. He acts like bred for them or I should've killed them just because a few had LC. These long coat pups have to be 7 or 8yrs old by now, living a happy healthy life.
