Chinger's is finally feeling better and ready for his Furever home! He is a little over a year old and such a love bug!
Chinger's first came to us in July when he was found hanging on to his very last thread of life abandoned in a park. He was so full of parasites and so emaciated and dehydrated that it was a wonder he was even alive. He has already endured more than any animal should, now it is time for him to live his best life! Chinger's is very social and used to being around little dogs and likes to play with them. His original owner used him for breeding with his own mother, cut his ear with a scissor and left him outside before he was confiscated by the police. He then was going to be euthanized by the county shelter because of space he has been in Foster for the last 4 1/2 years, he is such a sweet, loving boy. It is sad to see him still be in RESCUE. Prayers needed for this sweet baby boy!!
Meet Miracle Whip, this poor baby was found by one of our directors fighting for his life abandoned in a park. He could barely lift his head or meow. He had over 20 tics on him, loaded with fleas and so emaciated and extremely dehydrated. We of course did not hesitate to swoop him up and see if we can save his life. With the awesome and loving care of Nature Coast Animal Wellness we believe that he will pull through with a lot of tlc. He spent two days at the vet getting IV fluids and lots of meds, he also has toxoplasmosis and full of parasites. Clearly he is not a feral cat as he is probably the sweetest cat we've ever met even as sick as he is. Currently we have him in quarantine and continuing his IV fluids while he fights to get better and stronger. As you can imagine his Vet bills are climbing and we could use some help from our animal loving community as he is going to need continued care.
