Our very first, love of our lives, turns 10 today. He has been an amazing companion and we are so happy he is still with us. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Ticker poo poo we love you.

I meant to post earlier, but today has been tough. Been on an adventure to Alabama. Plane was delayed. Was supposed to already be home but still in alabama. We are bringing home 3 new girls to be part of our herd. When we get the last two tomorrow morning I will post pics.

I got a birthday litter. Temple waited till my birthday to have her puppies, but then she also waited till we went to dinner to have all 7 in 2 hours. Thank goodness after our last pregnancy everything and everyone is doing great.

Unfortunately we need to start looking for a home for our sweet Nova. She will be 3 in September, spayed, utd on all shots. She is super sweet, knows no personal boundaries 😁and just loves to be loved. She is still healing from her surgery so not ready to leave yet, but that gives her new family time to come a visit and everyone to get use to each other.

Nova is Home and doing great. Lots of kisses when I picked her up. I want to thank everyone that kept us in your thoughts, it worked to bring our girl home safe. Now it’s time for recovery.

Nova is out of surgery and doing okay. There were 3 puppies and none made it. It seems that one of her uterus horn twisted and caused the problem and happened within the last day or two. She is spending the night to get meds and will be coming home tomorrow. Really hope my girl will be okay.

We need some thoughts and prayers today. Nova had to be taken to get an emergency c-section this morning. By ultrasound we were told there were only two puppies and one was already gone and the other wasn’t expected to make it. Hoping our girl gets through this okay and comes home to us. My “Twinkie”💕💕💕

Mia Update:
She did have surgery this past Wednesday. She finally came home today and is doing great. There is some improvement but not a full recovery yet. This is going to take some time. Doc said up to 16 weeks for full recovery. But she is home and happy. We have missed her

I haven’t posted a lot about our Mia because it’s been a whirl wind since June. We noticed that she was having some pain and then some wobble and got her looked at and she had hurt her back. We decided right then that it wouldn’t be safe for her to have any more babies so we had her spayed. She has had several episodes but has bounced back. The first of November this episode came on first and worse then any other. She had lost the use of her back legs. We have been working with our vet with meds and laser treatments but things haven’t gotten better. We are at a neurologist today and have decided for her to have surgery to hopefully get her back to her normal self. I am dropping her off in the morning and she will be here over the holidays. Please keep her in your thoughts and pray for a very good recovery

I hate that I haven’t updated everyone on temple and her puppies. She did have them the 8th. There was 6 but only 4 has survived. It was a very intense labor and birth and I didn’t want to post anything until I knew everyone was going to be okay. Temple is an amazing dog not only has she made it through everything with her own puppies and they are all thriving, but she has excepted two other puppies (not even dachshunds) that needed a foster mom till their own mom is doing better from surgery after giving birth. We are very blessed to have the fur babies we do. They are so amazing.

Update: Poppy has found a new home and I am so great full because I truly believe she will be happy and very well taken care of.

And since I mentioned the baby goats yesterday her are some pics of them. They are so tiny. Probably 2 lbs. Nigerian Dwarfs. Sandy and Socks. Both girls

It turned into baby animal Tuesday/ Wednesday. Nova had her 6th and last baby around 6 this morning. Everyone is doing great. 4 boys and 2 girls. Everyone is still trying to dry off so pictures to follow.

At no fault of her own Miss Poppy needs to find a new home. She is right at 6 months, utd on shots. She will be microchipped and spayed before she leaves us. We got her to be part of our breeding program but she has some non life threathening things that should not be bred. I can explain and have documentation for all of that. She is the sweetest spunkiness gorgeous girl. We are heart broken to have to do this. She will be ready to go to her new home in about 2 weeks. Let me know if you are interested. She is a chocolate and tan long hair AKC registered.
