Happy 1 Year Anniversary to one of our LVTs, Averie! Over the year that Averie has been with us we have watched her blossom into a cool and confident LVT. She started helping us in rooms with appointments and now runs a day or two a week in the surgical suite. Her quiet demeanor helps calm our patients and she shows them that we are here to help. Congratulations and thank you for joining our team, we can't wait to watch you continue to grow as the years go on!

We want to take a minute to say thank you to all of our clients who have trusted us to board and care for your pets while you were away over the years. This weekend was a little bittersweet as our kennel area is now quiet. Know that we have lots of fond memories of those 4 legged family members that have come here, spreading their joy and kisses with us just as they would with their owners at home. We are blessed that you shared them with us and we will miss all of those regulars that came in often. We will make sure to give them a little extra love from now on as they come in for appointments! As the last boarder left on Friday, we couldn't help but get some pics of him, Dug you were the perfect last boarder at Clarke, such a sweetie and a ham!! Thanks for helping us move into a new phase with a smile😊 (cute video in the comments!)

We celebrate a big anniversary at the beginning of this month! Happy 32 Year Anniversary Dr. Harden! Thank you for all of your compassionate care to all of our patients over the years. You are our steady eddie, our jokester, our phone a friend, our go to for orthopedic cases, our willing to do anything teammate (kennels, shoveling, cleaning up messes, dishes), and you are part of the glue that holds team Clarke together. We are lucky to work along side you and we won't give away your secret about being a big softy with kittens and puppies🤭. Thank you Dr. Harden!!!

Keeping your pet active during the colder months can be tricky, but maintaining a healthy weight is crucial for their overall wellness. ​

For our dog patients, we recommend indoor tug-of-war, indoor fetch, and interactive toys. ​

For our cat patients, additional cardboard boxes never hurt – along with laser pointers, birdwatch stations, and interactive toys. ​

Happy 2 Year Anniversary Brittney! Brittney is one of our skilled Veterinary Assistants and she is currently enrolled in school to become an LVT. She has grown in her position so much the last 2 years, we know she will do awesome once she gets her Technician license. During the week you may catch her loading rooms with the DVMs, helping in surgery, or even up front manning the front desk. She is always ready and willing to helpout where ever we need it! Dental treats are a great way to reduce the severity of periodontal disease.

Our Angel Tree displays ornaments with the names of pets that have crossed over the rainbow bridge this year. It is our way of honoring their memory and giving a little piece of our hearts back to their families.
If you have lost a pet this year, we have an ornament for you to take home. We are still trying to get them made so please let us know if you’d like to pick yours up and we can be sure it’s ready.

The tree also has tags that include a pet care item that Saving Souls Pet Alliance (animal rescue) is in need of. Place the item listen on the tag under our tree and it will be donated to the rescue to care for pets in need. Some of the items include: dog and cat food (dry and canned), treats, toys, leashes, collars and sweaters.
