Bessie laying with her litter. Vera, Bessie's sister, together since they were in the womb, looks over concerned.

When Bessie was giving birth for the first time, Vera was crazy with concern for her sister. Like human sisters, they are best friends/worst enemies. But when her sister was going through the trial of a first birth, Vera showed how much she cared. At one point, Vera rushed up the chair, onto the table and ran into the birthing crate to lick and care for her sister who was recovering from her first born son.

Vera is still on watch, making sure her sister is healthy and doing well.
