Happy Independence Day! Please be diligent in ensuring you dogs are safe and comfortable. This is the worst day of the year for a lot of dogs. More dogs are reported lost on the Fourth of July than any other day of the year.
Here are some tips to help keep your pup safe:
•Make sure pet gets plenty of exercise earlier on the day
•Create a quiet safe space
•Try a thunder shirt
•Don’t scold your pup
•Always have your dog on a leash if outdoors
•Try to calm your dog using aromatherapy
•Provide some distraction
•Ensure your dog proper up to date identification

Today is National pet Memorial Day. Our pets are part of our families, their our friends, our therapists, our jar of secrets and our biggest supporters. Sometimes the loss of a pet can harder than the loss of a human. We create such strong bonds with our fur babies. But we will always carry them in our hearts. Here’s a few wonderful pets taken from us way too soon.

Nala surprised me this week. She is very sensitive to loud noises and there were not only construction workers in their yard, but their neighbors had a tractor going! Despite all the auditory dis reactions, Nala was able to keep focused. She is currently working on leave it. And we learned down; she’s a pro!!!

Nothing like a cardboard box versus all the cool toys I bring that they turn their noses too! Haha 😂 (For some reason I knew this box was going to be a big hit!)
