Update... we have been restored fully with power since Friday and all fur babies are still safe and being taken care of. ♥️♥️

Good morning....we currently have no power. We are reaching out to all clients with reservations for boarding for drop off or pick up. Our grooming appointments are having to be rescheduled. We are still taking care of your fur babies. We will keep everyone updated as soon as power is restored.

Ashlei is thrilled to be working at the Spa, she feels like it gives her such a great inviroment to be creative with the styles the clients want for their pets. All of her clients leave smiling and thrilled with the way their pets look. The pets leave prancing and strutting their new groom!

"Jax" was outside enjoying the blue skies and showing Debbie how he could be in the Olympics with his high jump. He is quite the spokes dog for having fun. He wanted to share that he is always able to get the staff to fill his every need. He just looks at them with those soulful eyes and everyone melts to what ever he ask for. Thank you to the Resort & Spa for the beautiful flowers for the start of 1 week to retirement! I am looking forward to seeing whom ever can make it to the open house on Thursday, January 18th, to say thank you for for making my career one of the best. Nan thank you for bringing these gorgeous flowers out to the house. The resort and spa team is such a tight fun loving group of people who do such a great job making each of your pets feel special while in their care. I will keep SAR&S and SAVH in my prayers for you to be covered with protection amd good health. I know you all will continue to keep our mission statement!

SAVH and BI want you to be aware the packaging of Heartgard plus will change but not the chew. Your pet will never know the difference when they taste the amazing chew. This was to provide clear message on the size of the dog that would be covered by this chew. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

"Jax" is endorsing Debbie our kennel person who has been taking care of the kennel since 2005. She loves to play, cuddle, and feed us. It is wonderful knowing that someone who is here because she just loves to take care of dogs and cats. It has not been about the money for her but about making sure all of our needs are met. Debbie gets our attention with her clear loud voice and we all know when she has entered the kennel and we get excited knowing we will have special time outside. This is not like any other kennel in the world. They really care that we are happy while we are here.

The question asked all too often is why does my dog not want to go home with me after staying at the resort? "Mia" had the zoomies, so what does the staff choose to do?
They open the back door and enjoy the sunshine and fresh air with her, when she returned to her kennel it was time for belly rubs and a treat! Now we let you in on our secrets. It's a mutual agreement between us and the pets we get to enjoy while you are away, it's like a grandmothers love, we spoil them and send them home rotten!

We do ask that you let your company know not to feed your dogs or cats any of the left over scraps as they could get

your pet sick or in some medical cases cause death. There are certain foods that we are able to eat but can kill our pets.

Our amazing Technician Dana Schiwart lost her husband suddenly to a massive heart attack last week. Duane was just 54 years young. This has caught this sweet giving family by surprise and not prepared for the financial hardship’s of the loss of income and cost of a funeral. This family has always been givers of themselves and never expected to be in need of acceptance of help from others. If you can find it in your hearts to contribute any amount to help Dana in her time of need we know they will be very appreciative . Please keep her and her family in your prayers as they navigate this journey without the captain of their family to steer them through rough waters. Dana came to our hospital during the beginning of the COVID pandemic and became an amazing support staff that helped us to provide so many with great care during our time of uncertainty. Now it’s our time to give back to her.

Update: This puppy original owner was found and they did not want the Puppy. Happy Ending........ Puppy is now living at a large ranch and has other dogs to play with, found out the pup is Great Dane mix so there will be lots of land to run and play. Thanks for sharing!
