The next pair of vets from Mexico will be arriving the 28th which means we need to get their apartments set up on the 27th. We are still in need of 2 loveseats, an end table and coffee table, 2 chest of drawers and 2 nightstands, as well as many things to make their new lives go smoothly as they study to pass their US vet boards. Gently used items can be donated at our resale shop during business hours. Please see the updated Amazon wish list and help us welcome them.

Ya’ll we don’t typically do courtesy posts, but this amazing little dude has been staying with us for a few days until his foster gets her power back on. He is backed by one of our amazing rescue partners, A Smart Rescue. Gaston is truly a must meet. He has enough love and personality for five cats and has been keeping one of our staff’s kiddos company all week while she works. He is AWESOME!!!

Gaston is a big, sweet & affectionate boy who was attacked by a dog and has permanent scarring on his head. His right eye is damaged but not the reason his eyes are crossed! That's natural and adds to his personality.

He is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and tested negative for FLV.
Gaston is FIV+ but as time and research has shown, this is not much an issue for a cat that is kept indoors.

His adoption fee is $30.

Freckles is all orange cat energy. His favorite moves come from WWE and parkour. He's lively and fun and when he's done playing he loves nothing more than to cuddle up on a lap or next to you purring and making biscuits. Freckles has a penchant for bread, particularly croissants. He does great with other cats. He didn’t live in a home with dogs but given his outgoing personality, if the dogs is ok with it, Freckles will probably be ok with it. Freckles does great with older children. He grew up without a litter mate so he plays hard with his human litter mates. Little children will need to learn to divert his attention with toys. Freckles is a huge people person and will make a great companion!

As if stunning good looks and dreamy blue eyes weren't enough, this boy is a total lover, too. Meet Clover. His absolute favorite thing is cuddling up and sharing his massive purrs and gentle head butts. He would make the perfect snuggle buddy. Through no fault of his own, Clover found himself wandering the streets looking for a new place to call home. Meet Kali, a sweet senior Boxer in need of a temporary foster home.

Miss Kali is:

🔸Dog, cat, and child-friendly
🔸A cuddle buddy who loves taking walks and lounging around the house

Kali has been with her mom since she was just 6 weeks old. Recently, due to health and financial reasons, her mom and other family members have had to combine households. Sadly, an autistic child in the home is extremely fearful of dogs and not accepting of Kali.

Kali’s mom loves her deeply and definitely doesn’t want to lose her but is in a very tough situation. She is estimating they will be able to figure out an alternative living arrangement within the next 6 months. If you or someone you know can provide a safe and loving temporary home for Kali until then (or even for a week or two while we find an alternative solution), please message us! (All necessary supplies will be provided.)

ADOPTED! Meet Donut. This sweet, little girl decided to climb up into a car engine to stay dry in the rain. Unfortunately, no one knew she was there and she got banged up pretty good. She is all healed up now and no worse for the wear except for a few missing teeth and a lopsided ear (which, tbh, is pretty darn adorable). Donut is very sweet, affectionate and playful. Hey! Hey!!! HEEEEEEEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pay attention to meeeeeee!! I’m Twilight and I demand your full attention RIGHT MEOW!!! Something terrible has happened. I was informed today that I am homeless!!! Can you believe that?? Sweet, purrfect, little me! How can this be? I mean, I guess I thought it was a little weird that every time I left my bedroom there were all these strange random animals everywhere. And whenever I go to my parent’s room they are always working and expect me to help with paperwork. I guess I just thought they worked from home or something. Nope. Apparently, I am currently residing in a veterinary clinic. Don’t get me wrong, I really love everyone here, but this is a travesty of justice!! I thought I had all these people to myself. Turns out not a single one of them belong to me. Like, I don’t own a single human. This needs to be remedied effective immediately. I need someone to come pick me up ASAP. What will all the other cats think when they find out I don’t have a home??!! It’s totally going to kill my popularity for sure. My meows sound like a squeaky toy. I like to be pet 24/7. I love to cuddle and love to hold your hand with my paws and offer licks. I’m not meant to be homeless. Come get me PLEEEEEEEEEASE!!!

Well, hello there!! I’m Goose. Pleasure to meet you! Wanna play? I sure do. As much as I can. I’m a charming, sweet little thing. I’m a little stressed out in my cage so I’m looking a little scruffy these days, but no matter, a little baldness never hurt anyone!! Once I am in a real home, my beautiful ginger locks will grow right back in, I promise. I really like other cats so if you have a gentle playmate for me, I’d love to meet them. I also truly enjoy the company of people and would do great in a home with cat savvy kids as well. They tell me I’m super special because most gingers like me are boys. I’m a cat so I don’t really know what that means, but I do like being called special!! Would you come take me home, purrty please? The people here are real nice and all, but I think a special gal like me really belongs in a home.
