Jamie is one of our wonderful veterinary receptionists that we're celebrating this week. Jamie completed her schooling to become a veterinary assistant from the US Career Institute in 2011. After moving back to the Hayward area from North Dakota she started working at LEVS in March 2021. She currently resides in Minong with her two children, her boyfriend and dog, Piper, and kitty, Scarlett. In her free time, Jamie enjoys hiking and kayaking. Thank you Jamie for all you do ! #veterinaryreceptionist
For #vetreceptionist week we need to give a huge thank you to Amber! Amber has been a team member at Leading Edge since spring of 2014. Amber started with the practice when it was a strictly large animal, ambulatory practice based out of Dr. Metcalf's house. She has grown with the practice and we are so fortunate to have such a dedicated person. Amber has a degree in Biology from Northland College and Vet Assistant certification from Penn Foster. Amber and her husband have two adorable little girls, a dog named Greta and a fuzzy cat named Cruiser. She enjoys camping and going to the lake in her free time. Thank you Amber for the many years and we look forward to many more ! #veterinaryreceptionweek
To continue celebrating #vetreceptionist week, we will feature Jen! Jen helps as a receptionist along with her veterinary technician duties. She completed her veterinary technician training at Rockford Career College. Jen has worked in an ER clinic and general practice clinics prior to moving to Hayward in 2015. Jen started at Leading Edge in January of 2019 and has been a vital team member ever since. She has two kids and is just recently engaged! Leo, the puppy, has been a recent addition to her family along with Thor her other Golden Retriever. She enjoys fishing and hiking in her free time. Thank you Jen for all you do!
