IN NEED OF A FEW LOCAL FOSTER HOMES. hello flock members, it's been a while and I figure you might be wondering why we haven't been able to post lately. honestly, even for someone as dedicated to the cause and the birds as myself, human Life sometimes gets in the way, and to make sure we keep things moving in a forward positive direction for the rescue we are going to need to enlist a few foster homers local to the northwest Arkansas. so, anyone within roughly an hour of Springdale, ar that's interested in helping out with some fostering (hopefully leading many to a forever home), please give us a call to find out how you can help!! Welcome, Ranger, to the lucky birds flock! We're super excited to have you And look forward to watching you grow and flourish as a Lucky Bird.
Ranger was thought to have been a boy by both previous owners. To the best of My knowledge ranger Lived with an attorney who had multiple birds for 15 years before being given to the lady that turned him over to us who has had him for 2 years. When she called last weekend and described some odd behaviors that Caused a complete 180 in personality, I put 2 and 2 + 20 years experience together And decided that This little boy was showing serious signs of being a little girl.. The next day I got a text message in the morning telling telling me about an egg that he laid in the bottom of the cage.. Understandably upset by being taken off of her nest, We wrote home with not much argument just a lot of anxiety. Once we got homeI brought her in and gave her some of my classic birdman love. It seems we've made friends free quickly Considering I had to have a towel to get her out of the cage andYou can see from this video how far we have come in little less than 8 hours. I'm very optimistic, and think she's gonna do wonderful as she blossoms.

Since so many have asked, here is a little more info:
Our services include (but are not limited to) on site wing clipping, Nail and beak trimming, Behavior consultations, as well As both physical and Social rehabilitation. Boarding,Birthday parties . Etc.... I also offer construction services for custom flight aviaries, playstands,, toys, accommodations for special needs birds, and just about anything else bird related that you can think of. Prices vary on an individual basis depending on travel time, fuel costs, services needed. I try to work within your budgetary capabilities but some ballpark numbers for you would be 60$ for wing and nail trim, $75/hr for behavior and training consultations, $100/hr for consultations in flock dynamics, $60/hr for video consultation (I can read your bird, translate for you, and you can learn a LOT in just one hour!) Playstands and aviaries vary widely so you'll have to get with for an estimate. Please keep fuel and travel cost in mind (we're not trying to rob you or even get rich. LOL) Ask me about outdoor flight and call- return training! We look forward to hearing from you to enrich and improve the quality of life for you and your bird or flock.

I know everybody must be wondering what happened to the bird man And why he's not been posting. I've been having a pretty rough Winter recovering from my shoulder surgery and with all the snow and everything but Here's a video to remind everyone why People call me for all their bird needs. This bird's name is piccolo and this is the 1st time I've ever met him. Everyone in the family can handle him somewhat Except for poor Brandi, But she said nobody has been able to handle him quite the way you see me with him in this video. If you would like to be able to handle your bird More comfortably and Communicate with them more clearly, just give me a call. They don't call me the bird whisperer for nothing!!

Thought I would post a little something since I haven't in a while. Shoulder surgery went well, I'm still sore as hell. The greenhouse is driving me crazy sitting here all in the boxes because I can't quite reach over my head. Soon I hope to be able to get it put together so all this who helped make it possible can see why they support the Lucky Birds way of life.

Welcome to the former Lucky Birds Unlimited. One of Arkansas only 501c3 parrot rescues.I'm so glad you stopped to visit our page and i would like to invite you to come along on an amazing adventure to a beautiful place where majestic, innocent, and humble birds grow, blossom and fly. Before we move on together, let me share this album of my favorite Lucky Birds moments past. These photos represent a history of Lucky Birds and a wonderful journey that has led me through many laughs, tears, situations presumed hopeless, happy adoptions, miracles, and tragedy. Unfortunately, especially in animal rescue, all the stories cant be happy ones. And Just as the birds that land here are finally able to let go of their horrible past; so too must I. FORWARD. Forward is the only way for me to make sure that my special touch with birds reaches out as far as it can to help as many birds as possible connect with their human and as many humans as possible to to truly understand what it is to share their life with a parrot. Please join us as I close one chapter from the history books and begin anew with an even more fierce determination to bring about positive change for all parrots in need.
