Our friends at Springdale Animal Services need help. Do you recognize this poor pup, this vehicle, or this individual? Just after 5 p.m., during the height of evening traffic, this vehicle pulled into the shelter parking lot, let this sweet dog out of the back, and took off. If you have any information that can help identify the players in this story, please call/private message the shelter (4797508166) or dispatch (4797514542) so that they can figure out the next steps.

Please be aware that after submitting your appointment request, we review it, and you should receive a confirmation on the next business day. Additionally, all ADULT pets must be spayed or neutered to utilize the vaccine clinic services.

We want to share that this year, we have completed 5,858 surgeries and administered 8,383 vaccines. Our dedicated team has put in countless hours. As part of our tradition, we will be closing during the week of Thanksgiving to allow our staff to spend quality time with their families. We will resume surgeries on December 2nd.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve you and your pets. If you have any emergencies related to recent surgeries, please reach out to the number provided in your pet's discharge instructions via call or text.

Please remember the following information:

✴️ $5 deposit is required when scheduling and it will be applied to the services during your appointment. This deposit is non-refundable if you fail to show up for your appointment. Our clinic is located at 1909 West Huntsville Ave. in Springdale.

✴️ If your pet is not spayed or neutered, please email us to schedule a surgery appointment. Microchips and vaccines can be administered during the surgery appointment.

Daylight Savings Time ENDS this coming Sunday, Nov. 3rd. ⏰

Like people, some pets need time to adjust to the time change. 🐈

If you have a schedule-oriented pet consider adjusting its routine (walking, feeding, etc.), start this week with small increments of 15 minutes or so. Pets have no idea about our quirky "clock," so remember their internal clocks.

Also, this is a great time to ensure your pet's microchip information is up-to-date and check those smoke detector batteries. 🐾

Today was a tail-wagging success! We had a great turnout of furry friends, and our team administered 171 vaccines. Our next Vaccine & Microchip Clinic will be next Saturday, September 28th! Have an awesome weekend! 😎
