Pearson’s first ewe Bella had twin ewe lambs this morning. He named them Ramona & Sally. Brad & I gave him the gift of a ewe lamb from our 2023 lamb crop at Christmas 2022 and he chose Bella she is a registered Dorset Advantage. Pearson’s parents decided to breed Bella to Chit Chat. Miss Langley Jones showed Bella and was named 2023 Supreme registered ewe @ the Washington County Fair with her. These girls have all the color and fuzz.

What a great day at AYE for Range Center and his ewe Roxy! They were selected Champion AOB breeding ewe and put up some stiff competition in the overall ewe drive. We are so proud of Range and his eagerness to do better every time he is in the ring and for how well he has taken care of and showcased Roxy all year. We are excited to place this ewe in the Wright’s Farm flock for years to come and the genetic potential she brings.

2nd update..... another set of twins born about 1pm 😳 who wants to come help?? Update: very tiny twins born around 3:35 am and then I went to sleep from around 5-9:00 and we were having another set of twins..... It has been a whirlwind of a couple days for us here @ Wright’s Farm. We have had 10 lambs from 5 different ewes. Started off with triplets, single & then twins x 3. So far everyone is doing well. Moms have milk and lambs are nursing and thriving 🥳 I came out for the last barn check before I snuggle in bed and all the lambs are sleeping except for Harper’s twins. They must have found some jumping beans :0) 4 - 5 more ewes due very soon then we will have a bit of a break before the next round. Off to bed 🥱 Update: Lucy decided to join in on the fun and had tiny twins @ 3:35am. Now Brad is up watching Athena and Remi. I need sleep.

Tanner Burks.... I am going to do my best to stay happy and not cry when you are in the show ring this next week at the AR State Fair.....your last one. You are not done showing yet so don't get too wraqpped up in your head that it is your last show, only at the State level. Stay focused and do whet you know you can do; show like a RockStar. We still have miles to put on the truck and new adventures to conquer. I think the world of you and your family and I know that the Lord orchastrated our meeting each other. The laughs we have had and the memories we made will last a lifetime. You learning to drive in a snow storm because there wasn't any way around it at the time, you stepped up and did what had to be done. You have grown into an intelligent, warm hearted, sweet sprited, hard working young man and I am so very proud of you and I love you like you are my own kid. Eventually when your time inside the show ring comes to an end you will still be a very strong part of the Wright's Farm Family.
