Fall brings muddy trails and hidden debris that can wreak havoc on your pet's paws.

After walks, give those pads a thorough wipe-down to remove mud, small pebbles, and potentially harmful salt or de-icing chemicals. Check between the toes for any stuck leaves or burrs. The changing weather can also lead to dry, cracked pads, so apply a pet-safe moisturizer regularly. Don't forget to trim the fur between paw pads to prevent ice ball formation as temperatures drop.

Sunday Success Story! ❤️‍🩹

Mojo the pug mix here was presented to us for eating raisins, after fluids, medication and hospitalization he is now fully recovered and cleared from the ER.

Raisins are extremely toxic to pets they contain tartaric acid, a nephrotoxin that can damage or fail a dog’s kidneys.

If your pet has consumed something toxic contact Animal Poison Control at (888)-426-4435 so their professional toxicologist can advise you on how to move forward.
