Woohoo! A huge THANK YOU to our incredible clients, supporters, and community for making this year one to remember. 🐾💙

While many were ringing in the New Year, we spent New Year’s Eve doing what we love most—spay/neuter surgeries, wellness appointments, dentals, and even a life-saving cystotomy. Because for us, every day (and night!) is about helping animals live healthier lives.

All made possible by 1 full-time vet, 1 part-time vet, just 10 dedicated employees, and our amazing volunteer Tom 🙌. Proof that a small but mighty team can make a BIG impact!

🎄✨ Holiday Cheer at Main Street Spay & Neuter! ✨🎄

We had the BEST time celebrating our Christmas party last night! 🎉🐾 It was so special to step away from the daily hustle and celebrate the incredible humans who make up our team. We truly could not do this work without each and every one of them, and we are beyond thankful for their dedication, compassion, and hard work all year long. ❤️

As a reminder, we will only be open Monday and Tuesday next week and will be closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day so our team can enjoy a much-deserved break with their loved ones. 🎅🎁

Don’t worry though — we’re still busy decking the halls and fixing the balls 😉✂️🐶🐱 during the holiday season! We do still have appointments available before the New Year, so be sure to snag your spot soon.

🐾 Why TNR Matters for Our Community 🐾

TNR stands for Trap–Neuter–Return, and it’s one of the most effective and humane ways to manage community (feral) cat populations. By spaying or neutering feral cats and returning them to their outdoor homes, TNR:

• Prevents unwanted litters
• Reduces nuisance behaviors like fighting, spraying, and yowling
• Improves the overall health and welfare of the cats
• Helps stabilize and reduce the feral cat population over time

Just last week, 27 cats showed up for TNR at Main Street Spay Neuter — and we accepted every single one. That’s 27 cats who will no longer contribute to the cycle of overpopulation.

We are incredibly thankful for the community members who are stepping up, trapping responsibly, and being part of the solution. Your compassion and action truly make a difference, and we are so happy to help support these efforts!
