🐾 September is Pain Awareness Month 🐾

Did you know dogs have an incredibly high pain tolerance? 🐶 By the time they whimper or yelp, they may already be in excruciating pain.

That’s why it’s so important to be proactive and pay attention to the subtle changes in their behavior:
✨ Limping or favoring a leg
✨ Sleeping more than usual
✨ Avoiding stairs or jumping
✨ Changes in appetite or mood
✨ Excessive licking of a certain spot

Catching discomfort early can prevent bigger health issues and keep your pup happy, healthy, and tail-wagging for years to come. 💛

👀 This month—and every month—be your dog’s best advocate. They can’t tell you when it hurts, but they can show you. You just have to know what to look for. 🐕💙
