We are so excited! We received messages from 2 people who bought rabbits from us and they won 1st place at their county fairs. We work so hard to provide great quality rabbits. Its nice to hear that they are doing well for their new owners.

The reason I always keep water bowls in my rabbit cages. It's 100 degrees out today, and the rabbits like to put their feet in the water to cool off. I also keep water bottles for the cages in case they tip the bowls. They also have a tile in each cage. My cages are in the shade with good air flow but this heat is terrible.

Normally, I'm ok with the heat, but this week has been awful. I do feel lucky that I have only lost one 4 day-old rabbit so far. I'm not even sure if I can blame it on the heat. I thought it was smaller the day it was born. I have been trying to breed my rabbits to withstand the heat, and after this week, I must say I think it's working. They are in a very shaded area of the property, but with heat indexes of 100, it's HOT. I've been filling pools for the momma pigs trying to keep them cool so they can take care of the piglets. Every living creature here is just over this heat.

Yearly check up for Ryder. He is now 146lbs 😳 He got his heart worm test, rabies shot, and his nails clipped. He absolutely hates having his nails done but did amazingly well. He deserves a special treat for being such a good boy.
