We will unfortunately not be accepting new customers for the 2024-2025 deer season for shoulder mounts only. We will take skulls for European mounts as long as space allows. If we have done work for you in the past, and you need a mount done, please reach out and we'll get you taken care of as long as we have availability. There will be NO price increase for this season!
If you still have a deer with me for a shoulder mount, please be patient. We have almost all the supplies in now and will be working thru everything as quick as we can.

Great bit of info here from Amy. This kinda explains turnarounds times and why you might not see progress on your mount after just a few month. That being said, I've got one more project to do, then I will be tackling all the 2023 shoulder mounts...in the order they came in.

Just a few other notes leading up to this weekend's fi****ms season opener:
- best (and quickest) way to contact me is by text at 417-761-1096.
- shoulder mounts run $725 this season, with an expected 12-14 month turnaround. Could be sooner depending on number of mounts I get.
- deposits are REQUIRED on all drop-offs.
- at this time I am only accepting euro mounts from return customers, and those I have already spoken to.
-Do NOT drop off a deer at my house without someone there to do the proper paperwork. I do get checked by MDC and if they find a deer without proper paperwork they will confiscate it .

I'm a little slow getting this post out there, but with fi****ms season just days away here in Missouri, I needed to get it out anyway.
If you harvest a deer you'd like to have mounted, trophy and hide care need to be a priority to ensure a quality mount is returned. If you cape the deer yourself the attached photos show where to make your cuts. Be cautious getting your deer out of the woods, dragging can and will damage the hide, resulting in added work for me and added expense for you if I have a lot of damage to repair. As always, I will cape your deer for FREE if I'm doing the mount on it. If you take it to a processor to have caped, make sure they are storing it in a freezer and not just in cooler that is often times well above freezing.

With deer seasons quickly approaching, here are our prices for the upcoming season. As with just about anything we buy, supply costs have gone thru the roof for us. Many of the supplies that taxidermists have always used are either no longer available or have drastically increased in prices.
Shoulder mounts will require $400 deposit due at drop-off, and the rest will be due prior to the completion of your mount.
We will only be taking in a limited amount of skull mounts this season in order to get caught up on a few other projects. If you need one done, get it to me quickly or contact me to make other arrangements.
As always, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
