Hello all Hill Top customers! This is an important notice!
We are very excited to announce some changes are going to be happening with Hill Top.
After lots of discussions, we have decided to move grooming to Cynthia‘s grandmothers on Old Connecticut river Road about four minutes from the current Hill Top location. We’ve made this decision so grooming can be less chaotic with grooming dogs hearing the daycare dogs playing or seeing boarding dogs come in and out. We want to make a more peaceful grooming environment for some of our more anxious dogs. We also want to be able to focus more on our grooming dogs so we can do the best quality job grooming for our customers.
With that being said, we have a very wonderful couple taking over the Hill Top facility Jessie and Chris. They will be operating under a new name, 4 The Love of Dogs. Cynthia has known Chris his entire life, she is best friends with his older sister. There is no one we trust more to take over and continue running things similar to how we have these last few years.
Lisa’s dogs will continue to go to daycare but she will be working with Cynthia grooming at the new location. Molly will be staying to work with Jessie and Chris so the dogs will still see the same familiar face they have for years.
Cynthia and Lisa both will continue to help Jessie and Chris with anything they might need and will stop by to see all of our favorite faces in Daycare!
Our target date to have this transition completed is January 2. We will be closed December 25-January 1 to enjoy time with our family’s and complete this move.
Over the next couple of weeks Jessie will be at hill top getting to know the dogs and their routines as well as meeting the parents.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions you might have.
The new address is 268 old Connecticut river road a few houses back from the old Christmas trees of Vermont location down on the Connecticut River. I think it is important to note that my grandmother ran that kennel for 48 years and they do live on the property next to the kennel and I will ask that people do not pull into the driveway without an appt and certainly don’t go to the house to knock on the door I do not live in the house next to the kennel, we’re going to try our best to be as respectful as we can to my grandparents and mother who live on that property.
