Let your horses rest as nature intendedâtogether in a herd, with deep, soft straw beneath them. Their comfort and happiness will be a reward youâll never regret!
âď¸ Snowstorm check-in with the herd! âď¸
Despite the wintry weather, our crew is relaxed, happy, and living their best livesâsnacking, napping, and most importantly, enjoying time with their friends.
Now, letâs talk about the great blanket debate! 𤣠Over the years, weâve shifted to blanketing our herd during wet conditions, high winds, or when temperatures dip below freezing. Why? With most of our wonderful herd being 20-30 years young, still riding almost daily and loving their outdoor lifestyle 24/7, keeping them dry and conserving energy just makes sense.
That said, every horse is different. Many thrive without blankets, and most of ours did for much of their lives! What works for one horse might not for anotherâcare tailored to their needs is key.

Sleeping in on this beautiful Monday morning! âď¸
A muddy day in herd life. Jojo, the littlest of them all, is well-loved. With an old soul, he gets along with everyone.
Duke and Shaman are soaking in this crisp fall morning, just as they were meant to. Thereâs something special about watching our horses roam the pasture day and night, side by side, instead of being cooped up in a stall. Right after sunrise, they come to life, playing and embracing the gift of a new day. Itâs a quiet reminder of lifeâs simple joys.
Itâs a great day to swim!! 𼾠𤿠Jenna knows how to cool off on a hot day with a dip in our pond.
Rainy Thursday with the best crew!
Monday nap time, waiting on the rain.
Riding lessons are canceled today, Monday January 22nd, because of the ice. Please stay safe out there. Horses are happy inside taking naps and living their best life!
