2. The cat/kitten MUST be an outside farm/feral feline (the purpose of this is to control the pet population)
3. The winning cat/kitten MUST be orange and white (as that was Shiloh’s colors)
4. You must post a picture of your orange and white feline on this post with its name.
5. Past winners are eligible.

With the transition into our new software complete we also gained a new reminder and communication platform and will no longer be using televet flow/otto for appointment and medication requests. There is an app called MyPetsWellness that can track your pets appointments, vaccine reminders and communicate with the clinic. In order to get started once you have downloaded the app please call or email the clinic to receive an activation code. If you would like to bypass the app, the other way to communicate is that you can respond directly to any communications you receive from the clinic such as vaccine or appointment reminders. Please reach out with any questions and we hope this helps us better serve our current and future clients!

*This giveaway is for farm/feral outdoor cats only!* (Indoor cats are not eligible as this is for population control)

Happy Monday!
Our Springfield office has started some construction within the building and we'd just like to make everyone aware when bringing your pet in there may be some additional noise. We are doing our best to keep the pets comfortable but please plan accordingly and bring cats in carriers and dogs on leashes to avoid them getting loose if they become frightened. We look forward to the updates and hope that it will further enhance the client's and patient's experience here. Thank you for understanding!

“The Shiloh Project would like to help the outside cats again this winter who don’t have access to fresh water. The Shiloh Project is giving away 3 free heated water bowls.

There is no purchase necessary; however, there are a few rules.
1. You must be a client of Riverside Animal Clinic
2. You must post a picture of your cat/cats and their name in the comments

The Shiloh Project is asking for your honesty on this. If you already have a heated water bowl, please do not enter this giveaway to give other outside cats that don’t have one a chance. Only one heated water bowl per winner. Winners names will be drawn on December 14th. You will have until the end of the year to pick up your free heated water bowl. After that it will be given to another winner.

HAPPY NATIONAL VET TECH WEEK! 🐾

Thank you to our amazing veterinary technicians: Sam, Macy, Hannah, Kris, Michelle and Ann! 🥳
Also thank you to our assistants/receptionists Erin and Rachel.

Veterinary technicians are critical in the day-to-day function of veterinary practices. They provide nursing care, complete dental cleanings, monitor anesthesia, trim nails, perform lab procedures, take x-rays, give injections, educate, place iv catheters and draw blood; just to name a few things. But most of all, they are dedicated to their profession and give a voice to the fur-babies.
We couldn’t do it without our amazing team!

It’s that time of year again! If you see red spots similar to the photos below on your pet, do not be alarmed! They are most likely gnat bites. Most dogs are unbothered by these bites and they will resolve on their own within a couple days.

We have seen an increase in parvovirus cases recently. Parvo is a preventable virus that can be fatal. Puppies can receive their first distemper/parvo vaccine at 6 weeks and should be boostered every 3-4 weeks until the series is complete.
You should not allow puppies to come into contact with unvaccinated dogs or go to dog parks until they have received all their vaccines.
Consult your veterinarian with questions regarding your puppies vaccines.
