The winner of the 10th annual Jim McKechan Memorial Monster Smallmouth of the Year is Kelly Ramsey with a 6 #2 oz King Kong. 22 1/2” long and a 17” girth. Caught on a Jewel Bait Company P*e Wee Football Jig with Capt Rick LaPoint. Congratulations to Kelly he will receive a $250 certificate towards a replica mount by Fittante Taxidermy & Fish Replicas. Great day on Table Rock! Steve Keil and his sons smoked the bass and walleye.

James and his son MoJoe wanted smallmouth today, and the smallmouth delivered. They caught 20 smallmouth bass with 10 keepers and MoJoe lost a bigun over 4. Great day with a couple great guys.

The last day for my wife ended with a bigun. She caught a 4 # smallie and a 5 #8 oz smallie on back to back casts. Whooped my butt, but that’s a good way to end vacation before I go back to work.
All our fish today we caught on Jewel P*e Wee Football Jigs.
We had some other good ones too. Over 20 total today
I will miss you honey!
