She came in recently for her very first puppy visit, and she’s already learning that the vet isn’t so scary 🐶

Proper veterinary care early in life helps catch concerns sooner, supports healthy growth and development, and sets puppies up for long-term success.

Puppies and kittens should start seeing a veterinarian as early as 6–8 weeks old. That first visit typically includes a full physical exam, starting vaccines, parasite screening, and guidance on nutrition and care.
