Needing your pet's medical records shared?? 😸

Our hospital has implemented a new protocol for sharing your pet's medical records. If you would like for us to share those records to another clinic, boarding or grooming facility, please fill out our medical release form either on our website OR you may fill it out in person at our clinic! It's easy! Here are the steps to access online:

1) Go to our website www.GSAHvet.com and click on "Patients"
2) Scroll down to the bottom of the page where you'll find "Pet Owner Resources"
3) Select "Medical Record Release Form"
4) Fill out the form and hit "Submit"

Do you know who this pup belongs to??? This sweet baby was found yesterday in the Millersville area near Williamson Rd! She is a blonde Yorkie with no microchip.

Let's talk about LEPTO... 👀

Leptospirosis is a bacterial disease that spreads through urinary shedding. It can be spread through infected urine from wildlife and pets, soil, water, and bedding.

This bacteria lives best in warm, slow moving water such as after heavy rains or flooding and will contaminate the soil for for many months. But who are the carriers responsible?? 👇

👉 Carrier animal urine from rats, squirrels, racoons, opossums, and other rodents! Asymptomatic dogs can also be carriers.

👉 Urban/Suburban areas include public sidewalks, dog parks, and communal areas.
