Almost weaned PUPPIES and two wonderful MAMAS: ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS! Alphabeth and Shadow have a lot in common. Both are loving, easy-going beauties who would do best, if sharing, in home with a calm, confident dog (Alphabeth in particular, to help her blossom back into the dog she is now that she is wrapping up her mama duties). Both gave birth elsewhere, but have raised their pups in our care since the puppies were just about 2 weeks old. Mamas make wonderful companions! Please give these lovelies a look see!Alphabeth is an elegant hound, but her pups look very much like retrievers, possibly flat-coated retrievers with their wavy coats. Holiday hazards for your pets
Holiday decorations and trees can be dangerous for you pet. Ribbon, yarns and string can catch the eye of your pet. The shiny tinsel on your tree is very attractive to pets and if ingested it can cause blockages. Tree needles can be toxic and cause mouth and stomach irritation. Even needles and the wire of artificial trees could pose a problem. Be sure your pet is not chewing on branches or eating fallen needles. If you have a live tree try to be careful of the water. The water in the tree stand often harbors potentially harmful bacteria. Fertilizers, insecticides, or flame retardants that were used on the tree may also get into the water. Cover the stand with a tree skirt or use other means to prevent access to the water.Additionally, there are common holiday and household plants that are dangerous and poisonous for your pet. The poinsettia plant, mistletoe, holly, lilies and daffodils are all toxic for your furry friend. Monitor your pet's interest in theses plants.
