With summer festivities kicking off, we want to remind you about the symptoms of heatstroke and prevention tips:
-Never leave your pet unattended in a car
-When hot/humid, keep your pet’s time outdoors limited
-Keep your pet hydrated
-Ensure your pet has ventilation and a cool environment
-Dogs with short noses are at higher risk due to their condensed facial anatomy and restricted ability to cool themselves
-If any signs of heat stroke appear, contact our team immediately.

As we kick off Memorial Day weekend, we wanted to share some pet safety tips to remember! Please share this post to spread awareness.
-Keep alcohol and table scraps away from your pet
-Never leave your pet unsupervised around bodies of water
-Keep your pet hydrated
-Limit time in the sun and heat
-Keep your pet away from fireworks
-Make sure your pet has an ID tag or is microchipped

Is your pet scooting or licking their rear? It could be their a**l glands.
A**l glands are located on the rear of dogs and cats. The glands produce an oily, fishy-smelling fluid that helps with scent marking. Sometimes these glands can get impacted or infected.
Soft, consistent stool, as well as allergies, are common causes of irritation. If your pet is scooting, licking excessively, or showing signs of discomfort around their rear end, contact us! We will help to identify the cause and determine the best course of treatment.

Guess what Springfield?!? We got an early Christmas present! 🎁 The Bridge construction is complete, and the lobby WILL BE OPEN starting Wednesday, December 13th! 🎉🎉🎉 ** There are still some finishing touches to be done to finish the renovation, but it is ready for the four-legged foot traffic. We thank you so much for your patience and we are soooo excited to see you tomorrow! **
It's finally here! The team at Bradford Park is excited to announce our bridge entrance construction project! We will be starting construction on Wednesday, November 1st 2023! During construction the front lobby of the clinic will be closed for client and pet safety. We ask that clients park and call from their vehicle to let staff know they are here with their pet(s). Please specify the make and color of the vehicle to ensure our team members can easily locate the correct vehicle. We will send a veterinary technician out to collect the pet and go over the concerns with the owner. We will take the pet into the building and the veterinarian will do the exam. If any additional test are recommended a team member will reach out to confirm with the owner BEFORE doing any additional services. When the exam is complete and the pet is released, staff will call for payment and a technician will bring the pet(s) back to their owner along with any products/medications. If picking up medications and/or products please park and call from the parking lot. A team member will get payment and run those purchases out to the vehicle. As soon as construction is completed, we will announce that the lobby is open to clients and their pets. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
September was a special month here at Bradford Park. Two of our Miss's became Mrs's! We would like to extend a gigantic congratulations to both Dr. Nancy Chilla and Paige, on their nuptials!
