Full Time Kennel Technician: Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Monitoring dogs in an open play yard environment, cleaning kennels and play yards, basic dog grooming (baths nail trims), monitoring boarding pets (feeding, water and giving medications), interacting with the public, laundry duties, dishwashing, and occasionally answering phones.
Shifts available: (32-40 hours)
Monday through Friday 7:30am to 5pm, Saturday 8am-12pm and 5pm-6pm, Sunday 8am-9am and 5pm-6pm.
Rotating weekends and holidays (required).
Full Time and/or Flex Time RVT: Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Holds or restrains animals during veterinary procedures. Cleans and maintains kennels, animal holding areas, examination rooms, or operating rooms. Fills medication prescriptions. Assists veterinarians in examining animals to determine the nature of illnesses or injuries. Assist Doctors in surgery procedures. Monitor anesthesia equipment. Monitor animals recovering from surgery and notify veterinarians of any unusual changes or symptoms. Cleans, maintains, and sterilizes instruments or equipment. Educates or advises clients on animal health care, nutrition, or behavior problems. Administers medication, immunizations, or fluids to animals as prescribed by veterinarians. Collects laboratory specimens, such as blood, urine, or f***s for testing. Provides emergency first aid to sick or injured animals. Performs routine laboratory tests or diagnostic tests, such as preforming x-ray images. Exercises animals or provides them with companionship. Performs office reception duties, such as scheduling appointments or helping customers. Performs hygiene-related duties, such as clipping animals' claws or cleaning and polishing teeth. Supervising veterinary assistants and kennel staff in their duties.
Experience is preferred, but not required. Applicants can begin training prior to completion of RVT courses and state testing.
Shifts Available: (32-40 hours)
Monday through Friday 7:30am to 5pm, no weekends
Ideal candidates will have previous experience in pet care and customer service, reliable transportation, and a positive can-do attitude.
