It's not fair.
It's just truly not fair.
Mom told me life wasn't fair but days like today I'm really tired of it being SO unfair for those with no voice but our own.
Declawed, blind, deaf, FeLV+ senior with signs of dementia, horrible teeth, lots of fleas and a cancerous mass on his chest just out wandering around.
Why was he out there?
How did he get there?
Why was he not posted as missing?
Why didn't he have a chip?
Where are his human guardians who are supposed to love and protect him?
Our hearts are beyond heavy tonight as this baby crossed peacefully over the rainbow bridge where his suffering is over. Maybe he joins an owner who has crossed over?
We sure hope so.
We hope his people are waiting for him because it's hard to fathom they are here with him in that condition.
We asked him to tell other WOW kitties who have crossed the bridge that we love them so much and sure hope they are happy, whole and healthy again.
We love each one.
We grieve each one.
Choosing to help them cross the bridge where there are no positive outcomes in sight isn't taken lightly.

This handsome love bug came to WOW a few weeks ago practically near death.
Thought to have FIP, a kind couple drove him to WOW hopeful of assistance with treatment. He has undergone SEVERAL tests and ruled many things out and one thing in definitively - histoplasmosis.

The treatment is often MONTHS long so he truly needs your assistance on #sevendollarsunday because once he started itrafungfal he began to perk up! There still may be a couple other issues at play (including issues with his bones) but we are working to get his appetite up and weight back on to get his energy up.
