Faith came in as a stray. She wasn’t with us for very long — which is a wonderful thing.

Faith has such a good temperament and a sweet personality.

This nice family came in looking for a new best friend to add to their family and they picked our Faith!

Today Faith got to go home with her new family and won't have to spend her Christmas at the shelter!

We are so happy for this sweet girl and so grateful she has found her family. ❤️🐾

This handsome boy came in as a stray back in September.
He’s a sweet boy who hasn’t had the easiest time here at the shelter, but he pushed through and never gave up.

A wonderful family came in, met Drake, and knew right away he would be the perfect fit.

Today, Drake gets his second chance at love with a family who chose him.

Happy new life, sweet boy

Calvin is quite the character!

He’s a sweet, silly, sometimes ornery boy who everyone enjoyed spending time with.

His personality is as big as his heart, and he always keeps things interesting.

Calvin was adopted once before, but was returned because he was more active than they were expecting. Sometimes, though, being returned is actually a blessing—it gives you another chance to find the family you were truly meant to be with.

That’s exactly what happened for Calvin. A kind gentleman met him, and the two immediately hit it off. He just knew that Calvin was meant to be his lifelong buddy.

Now Calvin is off to start his new life, full of love, adventure, and companionship, with his best friend.

Happy new life, sweet boy!

DOUBLE TINSEL ADOPTION!!
This nice woman came in to adopt a sweet little dog named Tinsel, when she discovered there was also a young tabby cat named Tinsel she decided needed both Tinsels to make her holidays (and all her days) bright!

Foster Friday!

Meet Winston

Winston is a 3-year-old bulldog who’s ready to finally find his forever home.

He’s potty trained, crate trained, and dog-friendly (though a meet and greet is a must).

Don’t let his tough-guy looks fool you—under that rugged exterior is a heart as sweet as marshmallow fluff.

Winston isn’t whiny or needy, but he does love being close. He’s happiest when he’s in the same room as his people and truly wants to feel like part of the family ❤️

He’s a smart, curious boy with a medium-to-low energy level. He enjoys going for walks and absolutely loves car rides—but once the adventure is over, his favorite place is snuggled up next to his person.

One look into Winston’s soulful eyes tells a story of a dog who’s been let down more than once.

What he needs now is
routine, stability, and unconditional love.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will quietly steal your heart and your couch, Winston may be your guy.

This incredibly beautiful girl is Lola.

When she first arrived at animal control, Lola was scared and timid. But with time, patience, and the guidance of our behavioral coordinator, her true personality began to shine.
Her sweet, goofy nature slowly emerged.

Today, a nice lady made a special trip to come and meet Lola and instantly fell in love.

We couldn’t be happier for this beautiful girl and wish her a lifetime filled with happiness, love, and security.

This sweet little girl found herself at animal control due to unfortunate circumstances. Lacey and her brother were lost out in the cold, but thankfully, they were found and brought to animal control.

Lacey is a friendly, easy-going pup with the sweetest personality. We've all enjoyed spending time with her.
She is just a joy to be around!

A nice gentleman came in looking for a new best friend. When he met Lacey he knew she was the perfect fit.

Now, Lacey has a loving forever home where she can run, explore, and use that incredible bloodhound nose.

She's finally home, warm and loved—never to worry about being left out in the cold again.

Leo

At only 5 months old, this beautiful boy came to SCAC due to unfortunate circumstances. Sadly, many people welcome this beautiful breed into their homes without fully understanding what it takes to keep them physically and mentally fulfilled.

A wonderful family came out a few days ago to meet Leo and immediately fell in love with his sweet, silly, and playful personality.

Today, Leo begins a brand-new chapter—one filled with love, adventure, and a family who truly chose him.
