When summer rolls around, we’re all about fun in the sun, but did you know your pet can be at risk from those warm rays? Excessive UV exposure can lead to various health problems in pets, such as sunburn, eye damage, and even skin cancer.

WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP? ⬇️🐾

Avoid damaging exposure by walking your pets outside of peak sun hours.

If you have a light-colored or short-haired dog, protect their skin with pet-safe sunscreens or protective clothing.

Schedule regular vet check-ups to monitor your pet’s skin health. We can spot early signs of sun damage during an exam and can guide you on the best ways to protect your pet!
