Happy Birthday to our Executive Director, Rick! Rick came on board in August of 2021 and has done an amazing job of keeping our clinic running smoothly. Rick is continually educating himself and the staff to make our clinic the best it can be. He is dedicated to helping the animals in this community, not only through spay and neuter efforts, but also as a foster for Rescue One! When he's not at the clinic you can find him volunteering in other capacities in our community as well. We are so lucky to have him leading our SAAF Spay Neuter Clinic team! Thank you for all you do and have a great birthday!

The SAAF Spay & Neuter Clinic will hold a Drive-Thru Vaccine Clinic on Saturday, May 11, 2024, from 09:00 until 12:00, at All Pet Supply, 2845 W. Kearney, Springfield, MO.
Vaccines will be $10 each for:
Rabies
Canine Combo
Feline Combo
Bordatella
And we will offer microchips for $25 each.
So, mark your calendars and come early!

SAAF Spay Neuter Clinic is happy to celebrate “World Veterinary Day” as we recognize our amazing Veterinarian Dr. Schannon Beasley!
Dr Beasley has been with SAAF for nearly six years.

Since opening the clinic doors in Oct. 2010, SAAF has performed 72,822 surgeries. Dr Beasley, herself, has performed 32,172 for the clinic! What amazing numbers!

The Board of Directors would like to recognize Dr. Beasley for all her hard work as well as her undying dedication to the mission…Spay and Neuter!! Please join us in thanking her and celebrating her on this special day! 🐾

Our next Drive-Thru Vaccine Clinic is on Saturday, March 23, 2024, from 8am until 11am, at All Pet Supplies, 2845 W. Kearney, Springfield, MO.

Vaccines will be $10 each for:

Microchips will be $25 each.

There will NOT be any flea & tick prevention treatments available that day.

As of January 30, 2024, SAAF Spay Neuter Clinic has performed 72,266 spay and neuter surgeries. Of those surgeries, 32,172 were performed by our current veterinarian, Dr. Schannon Beasley.

Dr. Beasley has been the veterinarian at SAAF since August 2018. Many thanks go out to Dr. Beasley, as well as our past and present staff members, donors, and clients for helping us in our mission of providing low cost spay and neuter services for Springfield and the surrounding areas.

Normally when Springfield Public Schools close for weather, the SAAF Spay & Neuter Clinic is closed, also. However, on Monday, January 15, the schools will be closed for Martin Luther King Day -- SAAF will be open, unless we get some terrible weather, in which case our closing will be posted here.

Does anyone recognize this pup? He came up to the shop 1/9. We have him inside where he is warm and being fed.

Someone is looking for him. Nails are really short, coat is clean and he has an invisible fence or shock collar that is charged.

Our Santa photos was a big success raising $1500. We saw almost 150 of your furry friends including 9 cats, a chicken, and even Captain Springfield - Googey from BookMarx.

A big thank you to Fetch Pet Supplies & Gifts and their awesome staff for their support and generosity, also to Zen Lens Photomedia for volunteering their time and amazing photos skills for us, and to the SAAF board members for giving their time to help tonight.
