FERAL FELINE FRIDAY
*GRAPHIC VIDEO*
We love our community kitty friends here at SAAF, and this week we were able to provide relief to a community cat with a burrowed Botfly while she was there for her spay. While we've seen and removed these before, this one was by far the largest! Thank you Dr. Beasley and staff for your hard work and dedication to our TNR programs 🐱

SAAF vetting CARE's rescue cats!
39 cats so far this morning, with more to come.
Our Executive Director is always willing to give out free cuddles and lots of pets to our patients after their spay or neuter surgery. This is Judson, he is a 8 month old bloodhound that was surrendered to Springfield Animal Control by his previous owners. Lucky for him Valley Hills Animal Rescue has taken him in until his forever home is found. Judson and many other amazing pups are up for adoption right now! #Adoptdontshop
Look at all of these fantastic pups that are at the clinic today, for their spay/neuter, from Tri-Lakes Humane Society in Reeds Spring! Be sure and check them out if you are looking to add a furry family member!
Roasted and 7 other adorable kittens from Eden Animal Haven are at our clinic today. Roasted is eagerly awaiting his neuter as you all can see 😉😜 Be sure and keep them in mind if you are looking for a new furbaby!
** Update, a BIG thank you to Tri-Lakes Humane Society in Reeds Spring for taking these 2 cuties!!**
Please, please, we are begging you! Do not dump cats at our facility. We are not a rescue, we are not a shelter, we do not have staff nor the capability to care for cats long term. We are a spay neuter clinic. We do not have adequate accommodations for cats to live here. This has happend more in the past few months than ever before! These two were left in a crate covered in their own feces, overnight at our clinic. They had baths and are fed now but as we have said before, We are not a shelter! Any rescue willing to step up and take the 2 kittens. Both are females, super sweet, and social. We will cover the cost to spay, vaccinate, de-worm, and test them for fiv/felv. We will only release them to a liscensed rescue or shelter.
8 dogs and 69 Feral Cats will be sterilized here at the clinic today. That is an amazing number! Thank you to everyone in the community that makes this happen each and every Feral Day!
This is a big day for us so please have patience and understand that all staff will more than likely be working into the night, well past our business hours, making sure that we get all of these cats taken care of! Dogs will be ready for pickup at the normal time. Feral cat pickup will vary, it may be later than normal or tomorrow morning before they can go.
