🐾Rest is best: Keep your pet calm and avoid strenuous activities for 7-10 days. Their body needs time to recover!

🐾No licking zone: Use an e-collar (cone) to prevent licking or chewing the incision. It may look silly, but it’s so important for healing!

🐾 Create a cozy space: Set up a quiet, comfy spot for them to rest away from other pets or distractions.

🐾Keep it clean: Check the incision daily for redness, swelling, or discharge, and follow instructions for care.

🐾Feed with care: Appetite might be light the first day, but a bland meal can help them bounce back.

Meet Sam, our new Executive Director at SAAF Spay and Neuter Clinic! 🐾

Born and raised in Missouri, Sam’s journey has been fueled by a love for animals and a passion for community. After a career in restaurant management, Sam joined SAAF three years ago as a kennel technician and learned the ins and outs of what it's like to run our nonprofit clinic.

Today, Sam has worked his way up to the role of Executive Director!

Sam is excited to lead SAAF in creating a lasting impact by making spay and neuter services accessible for everyone in our community. His personal and professional goals align with a deep commitment to serving the community and growing SAAF for years to come!

The Spay-it-Forward Fund is designed for clients who are in need of financial assistance. This program ensures that every person in the community is able to get their pets spayed and neutered. This program is funded solely on donations so every dollar counts!

To donate, you can drop off a check or cash at our clinic, mail it in, or donate online. You can denote ‘spay it forward fund’ on your envelope or online donation.
