Dear valued APG clients,
It is with a heavy heart that I announce the closure of Affordable Pet Grooming. After several years of caring for your amazing pets, I’ve decided to close my doors. I had planned to retire last July, but life took an unexpected turn when my son was in an automobile accident in March 2024. We’ve been navigating that challenge as a family, and now we’re ready for our next adventure—focusing on family and taking a well-deserved step back. Our last day of operation will be April 18th, 2025. Thank you so much for your incredible support and for trusting us with your furry loved ones—it’s been a privilege.

Update: Reunited with owner! Thank you very much for all your help!

As we were leaving work Friday night around 6:30pm, and getting into our vehicle, this husky approached us. Since our vehicle's doors were opened, the husky jumped right on in. But I can not take this very confident husky to my home (I have four cats). Please share to help me find his owners. This was Otis. When his mom brought him, and his brother, Butkis, to me for the first time long ago, she told me that Otis didn't like his nails done and that he might need a muzzle. I earned his trust and he never wore a muzzle. Butkis, on the otherhand, just loved to get groomed and would jump on my table. Butkis and Otis were one of my very first clients when I opened APG, and I loved them very much. They taught me so much too, as a groomer and about dogs. This pic means a lot to me. It has a lot of meaning behind it. It was taken 14 yrs ago. I believe this was about the third time that I groomed these guys, and I was so proud of Otis stacking up, giving me each of his paws, and allowing me trim them. RIP Otis and Butkis. I hope that you enjoy and eat all the bananas and banana peels that your heart desires in heaven.

WOW! Look at the difference! First pic was taken in Oct 2022. Second pic was taken in Oct 2024. APG does use the best products and tools on the market so pets in our care can have healthly skin and coats, but we're blown away by this before and after difference. Thank you LeRoy for being such a great little dog. We love you!
