Wet Rock Gardens Flower Farm U-Pick is always open by appointment AND open sunrise to sunset April-Oct, but, no staff makes calling ahead a good idea IF you need any customer service.

rvice... You pretty much just put water in your containers and go cut whatever you want. If you take our buckets, they are $3ea plus the cost of flowers ($25/bucketful). Buckets, Cutters, Prices and the box for paying should be at the "Farm Check-In" table. We think it is easy to U-pick without us. Even if you want help your first visit, once you get to know the place, you will probably only rarely need customer service. Best # for customer service is Five41 5toOne ate89ate (like it sounds). 7am to 3pm is the LEAST reliable time for this # to be answered. So, super early or 3pm to 10pm is the best times to call. The # is also posted on the Farm Check-in table. We don't currently have a restroom, though if you find anyone volunteering there (usually later in the afternoons and evenings), they can show you a bathroom. In an "emergency", peeing on LAWNS is good for the grass.

It has been dry for a while, so, I think I will be trying to light some fires today and tomorrow (2pm to dark) before the rains return. Could be fun if anyone wants to come volunteer to throw sticks into the fires!

Our least-expensive U-Pick flower option is our "tube-sized" deals. I have them on our e-shop now so people can pay for them online more easily:
EDIT: Link to new item is here: https://wetrock.com/.../8-or-12-sized-tube-full-of-u.../ Photo link below seems to have been hijacked by Meta/FB to try to get people to start a conversation with the flower farm's page rather than let you leave their site.

Enjoy Picking a tube-full of flowers at the farm

Along with the infinite other opportunities, 2-Person-team Volunteer Opportunities abound at the farm ! We could use a two-person team to remove blackberries from the flower beds (see tool photo for why two people is ideal) and a 2-person team to drive the Backhoe and load it's bucket with sticks and firewood as we tidy up the massive storm damage. The backhoe team would need a slightly mechanically-inclined member to keep the tire pumped up and get it started, plus, it is a "beast" to drive.

Volunteers can choose when to help out, what kind of stuff they want to do and we can usually find shady projects in hot weather. Hanging out at the farm when off-duty can be very nice and might even include camping out by the river. There is cooking-fire potential at various locations. Of course volunteers can get free flowers and fruit :-)
