Wet Rock Gardens Flower Farm U-Pick is always open by appointment AND open sunrise to sunset April-Oct, but, no staff makes calling ahead a good idea IF you need any customer service.

rvice... You pretty much just put water in your containers and go cut whatever you want. If you take our buckets, they are $3ea plus the cost of flowers ($25/bucketful). Buckets, Cutters, Prices and the box for paying should be at the "Farm Check-In" table. We think it is easy to U-pick without us. Even if you want help your first visit, once you get to know the place, you will probably only rarely need customer service. Best # for customer service is Five41 5toOne ate89ate (like it sounds). 7am to 3pm is the LEAST reliable time for this # to be answered. So, super early or 3pm to 10pm is the best times to call. The # is also posted on the Farm Check-in table. We don't currently have a restroom, though if you find anyone volunteering there (usually later in the afternoons and evenings), they can show you a bathroom. In an "emergency", peeing on LAWNS is good for the grass.

This guy made a 2 kayaks from Mushroom mycelium and h**p hurd substrate. https://www.samkshoemaker.com/mushroomboat https://www.samkshoemaker.com/mushroomboat

in 2024, I crafted a 15-foot "boat" from a wild polypore mushroom (Ganoderma sp.) collected near my studio in Los Angeles. To create the boat, I modified a used ocean fishing kayak to serve as the positive for a two-part fiberglass mold. Over 300 pounds of inoculated h**p substrate was used to propa...
