Any amount you can donate would help greatly! This rescue takes in a lot of pups that desperately need help. If you go to their page you can see one of the more recent intakes they have.
Their mission is to help as many pups as humanly possible but they cannot do it without our help.

Important Announcement:

It’s time to have a serious conversation. Yesterday alone, we were tagged in 47 posts about animals needing urgent help. Did you know that just one emergency rescue can cost up to $1,000 for initial stabilization alone? Despite our regular fundraisers, we are struggling to keep up with these mounting expenses.

We are currently completely out of emergency funding and space. It’s not that we don’t want to help – we simply can’t. Adoptions are down, donations are down, and the need is skyrocketing. While we are working tirelessly behind the scenes to raise money for a new building to increase our capacity, progress is slow.

We know our community relies on us, but we also need the community’s support. For our anniversary fundraiser, we need our followers and community members to rally behind us and make a donation, even just $1. So far, 106 people out of 150,000 have donated. We are deeply grateful for those 106 generous donors, but we urgently need more support. We know times are hard for everyone right now, not just us.

Your donations help us provide thousands of pounds of food each month, offer spay and neuter assistance, and conduct emergency rescues. Hello all! I wanted to let everyone know that I will be out of the shop from Saturday June 29th until I return July 9th.

My family and I are taking a much needed vacation to enjoy some time together. That being said, if you would like an appointment, go ahead and text me as it will be easier to keep track of when I return. I won’t be able to return texts or calls right away but I will as soon as I return and then we can get everyone on the schedule to be pampered 🥰.

Thank you very much much for being patient and I will look forward to seeing all those adorable furry faces when we return 🥰!

Doggie designs will be closed Wednesday March 13th-Monday March 18th to allow us some family vacation time. We will be scheduling for appointments along the way for when we return 🥰! We will see you all soon and happy spring break!

It's COLD!!! Please bring your pets inside. If that is absolutely not an option and your dog has no shelter, we have several dog houses outside of our office located at 1927 E. Bennett STE B. in Springfield. They are first come, first serve.

We do not have straw at this time but hoping to have some for this weekend! Never put hay or blankets in their shelter as they will freeze. Always use STRAW. Again, bringing them inside is always the kindest option during low temperatures.

If you have a dog house or you would like to donate to an animal in need, you can leave it outside the address above!

LOST CAT IN SPRINGFIELD

Missing cat. We just moved from the 500 block of S. New to the 1900 block of N. Main Ave between chase and Atlantic.
He is a gray tabby with silvery undertones. His name is Khonsu Minho and was last seen Friday night when he got out of the house. He was wearing a blue collar with a bow and a flea collar with a purple heart shaped tag with my phone number and our old address.

I'm very worried he has gotten lost in the new neighborhood or may possibly be trying to return to the old house.

Did you know:
If you have a pacemaker, you can put it in your Will to have your pacemaker donated to a dog in need after you pass. Pacemakers cannot be donated to another human, but they can be donated to dogs with cardiac issues who would depend on it to stay alive.
You can have the pacemaker brought to a vet of your choice. So many of those get thrown away and dogs die because people don't know they can do this. It even saves the dog's owner the cost of the actual pacemaker which sometimes means the difference in being able to afford lifesaving treatment or not.

***Edit:
There are limitations for donating a pacemaker such as age of the device and state of the battery. Although requirements may vary per location, you can contact your local Veterinary Cardiologist for more information.

UPDATE- WOW! JUST WOW! WE ARE SO INCREDIBLY GRATEFUL FOR ALL OF THE SUPPORT TO REFILL THE FOOD PANTRY!!!

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!

We are extremely sorry to announce that we are completely out of dog food in our pet food pantry and will be out of cat food by the end of the week. In July alone, we have assisted with 3,047 pounds of food to owners needing assistance and we just can't keep up. We usually have the opportunity to purchase pallets of expiring food at a low cost for this program but no one has had any available.

If you are like us and can't stand the thought of any pet going hungry, any brand of food can be brought or shipped to our office at 1927 E. Bennett STE B Springfield, MO 65804 or purchased through one of the links below. You can also shop local online through Pet Supplies Plus - Springfield, MO - S. Our pantry has helped over 2,000 pets and allows us to provide education and spay and neuter assistance, which owners must accept to be eligible to receive food. Any help for these owners who have fallen on hard times or have had pets dumped on them and are trying to do the right thing but all shelters are full, appreciate you!
