To all of our ✨amazing✨ clients,

For many years, our doctor and staff have worked exceptionally long and hard hours to keep up with client and patient demands. This has unfortunately come at the cost of our own needs, so the clinic will be implementing a schedule change in hopes of providing an improved work-life balance for our staff, while providing better care for our families and yours.

Effective July 8th, 2024, Myers Animal Clinic will have new hours. Monday-Thursday 8:00AM-5:30PM, Friday 8:00AM- 1:00PM, closed Saturday and Sunday. We have also adjusted our scheduling times to accommodate more appointments. This will ensure a full staff during business hours, so we will be seeing the same number of patients each week. This will allow our doctor and staff to have longer weekends to decompress and recharge.

We hope this adjustment does not affect too many of our clients, and believe being fully staffed during these hours will allow more availability to our existing clients. Please remember to pick up any medications or food prior to 1:00PM on Fridays.

We are so grateful to all our amazing clients and patients, and appreciate your patience and understanding as we all adjust to the new schedule. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to email or give us a call at the clinic and we will be happy to discuss them.

Each year we treat many pets for a variety of toxic exposures, so we have attached below a link to ASPCA’s article regarding the top 10 most common pet toxins for 2023☠️ If you suspect your pet has ingested a toxic substance, it is always recommended to call ASPCA’s poison control hotline at (888) 426-4435 to get the recommended treatment plan, and as always, give us a call with any questions or worries regarding your pet’s health!🐾❤️

With Thanksgiving just a few days away, we are all excited to be spending time with our loved ones🥰 For most of us, that also includes our furry family members!🐾 While we are all guilty of wanting to include our pets in the celebrations and festivities, it is also important to be mindful of what we feed them. The ASPCA has listed a few recommendations, available in the link below, on how to include everyone safely❤️

Thanksgiving is a time for friends, family and holiday feasts—but also a time for possible distress for our animal companions. Pets won’t be so thankful if they munch on undercooked turkey or a pet-unfriendly floral arrangement, or if they stumble upon an unattended alcoholic drink.
