Happy Monday from Galloway!

We would like for you to meet Buck. This sweet and handsome boy is in search of his forever home! He was brought to us by a good samaritan after being found injured. His x-rays revealed he had been shot and it shattered his right femur. So sadly, amputation was the only way to help him be pain free. He is doing remarkably well post surgery!

Buck had already been neutered and front paw declawed when he was found. We tried to find his owner, but no one came forward.
He is approximately 2 years old, loves to snuggle and be close, but also has a playful side too. He is Feline Leukemia and FIV negative and is current on his Rabies, FVRCP, and Feline Leukemia vaccinations.

**Road Work Update: Beginning Wednesday Jan 22**

Galloway Street will close to allow a single lane of eastbound traffic only between Luster and Lone Pine avenues beginning Wednesday, Jan. 22 as part of the ongoing Galloway Street Widening improvement project. The one-way eastbound condition is expected to remain for the duration of the project, currently anticipated for completion in late summer.

Westbound traffic is encouraged to detour around the work zone by utilizing Lone Pine Avenue to either Battlefield Road or Republic Road to head west.

The three winners of our Halloween Costume Contest are The Udderly Fabulous Emmy in 1st Place with 228 votes, Dashiell, The Greatest Showman in 2nd Place with 212 votes, and Sophie, the Lady Godiva in 3rd Place with 186 votes!
